You rang? Ah, the IGO-L, yup, I love em. Build them with 29 or 30 Ga Kanthal, to 1.4-1.6 ish ohms, 3/32 inch ID. I like the wraps tight together, and locate the coil very low in the deck, so the enlarged air hole sends the incoming air into and over the coil. I pull one of the o-rings and this allows me to spin the cap, while holding a flashlight aimed directly at the air hole, so I can line up the airflow to hit the coil square in the middle. Another way I do this is to hold the light up top aiming down into the attie, and look through the air hole till I can see it is lined up at the center of the coil, this is also the way I check the height of the coil.

Been using the IGO-L atties for about four years now...

Just wasn't the atty for me, and I sure gave them a try. For me, the chamber is to large a diameter & to short to produce the flavors I wanted.
I found this style of atomizer much more to my liking.

I used to actually HOPE I'd get bronchitis so I could stop or cut down on the cigs! Of course, even if I got sick and went as long as a day without smoking, once I felt better, I'd always start again.
Funny, the last few days I've felt that tickle in the back of my throat which usually indicates I'm getting sick. But it hasn't progressed! I like to think my immune system and lungs are healthier and keeping me from getting a full-blown cold! vaping rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe PG vapor is killing those germs that try to invade your throat.
    A germ-killing vapor
"Dr. Robertson placed groups of mice in a chamber and sprayed its air first with propylene glycol, then with influenza virus. All the mice lived. Then he sprayed the chamber with virus alone. All the mice died."

"...the researchers found that the propylene glycol itself was a potent germicide. One part of glycol in 2,000,000 parts of air would — within a few seconds — kill concentrations of air-suspended pneumococci, streptococci and other bacteria numbering millions to the cubic foot.

Yay! The postal service finally managed to get my SXK Prime to me. The wandering package looked a bit roughed up but the contents were fine. Happily the tank and parts have no counterfeit branding on them, which always bugged me. It looks a whole lot like a v5 mini but mini-er, which I love. Fairly simple to build and wick. Fantastic flavor. 1 pip on the airflow is pretty darn tight in my opinion. 4 of 6 pips is where I have it now and I am loving it. Looks great on my Jac. Happy Vaper

26g 2.5 x 6 SS316 (gonna have another run at temp control). It’s not exactly tootle ohm at .43. Sometimes I do 28g 2.5 x 6 which usually gets me around .8. Running it at 16.5w right now and it’s excellent. I did have to liberally lube the threads, it was bit tight and tough to open the jfc otherwise. I’ll give it a few days to try it out but I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering more of these tanks eventually.

I just saw someone suggest trying a vertical coil in the STM RBA! Can’t believe I haven’t thought of that before! I’m excited to have a new vaping challenge.

Huh. Can you post a pic if you try it? I'm having a hard time seeing how you'd do that.

I thought the same thing! Here’s a pic (not mine). I’ll post mine when I get one installed.

I’m having trouble finding a good video for the STM vertical build so I guess I’ll just go off the photo. Not sure how wicking will work... I’m terrible at wrapping a vertical wick!
Sorry for all the multiple posts!

Uh, but that's not an STM, it's a KF style base...

    Again, unsure about wicking!
