I started at 18mg. Went to 24mg to get off the final few smokes. Quickly went to 24/18. Dropped to 18 after about 6 months. Went to 12 after a year of that. Found myself vaping to much and adjusted to 15/12.

My setup hasn't changed in that time.

If you are going up, take it in smaller steps instead of doubling or tripling your nic.
My journey was similar to yours. After 12 for about 6 months I started reducing by 1mg every month or so. When I hit 6 that was it. Staying there. Anything less I chain vape.

I agree with your advice to increase slowly. @DaveP perhaps go up to 4 or 5 for a week or so and see how that works. Then repeat until you reach your happy place.

I waited 3 months for some battery wraps, insulators and a few other items from FT, stuck somewhere in a Canada post warehouse. Had several batts in dire need of a rewrap. All that wait for 15 minutes of fun. Re wrapped the several that needed and now waiting for another to begin to fray. Well worth the investment to have wraps handy. They last longer than the factory wrapping.

Wow! Lasts longer than the original wrapping. I didn’t know that!

A clear wrap OVER the factory wrap may make the diameter too big for some mods...

I never put a clear wrap over a factory wrap, partly for that reason, and partly because it really doesn't need the extra protection - most of the time ;)

The insulators may or may not be needed. If the originals are intact, just reuse them. Top (positive end) only.

I like clear overwraps to preserve the identity of the cell.

I think it has to do with the thickness of the wrap. I haven't mic'ed any to see if there's a difference.

One of my recently overwrapped 30Q's was a tight fit in my Eleaf Invoke. It was obviously related to incomplete shrinking. I hit it with the heat gun again and all is well. Some mods do have slightly smaller battery cavities than others.

If you label under the wrap, think about the thickness of the label. Heavy paper vs a thinner Dymo tape label can make a difference in the way the battery fits in its holder, especially if the battery holder is a tube vs a snap in battery sled.

Thanks Skold...My Mom's doing much better and she had a new pacemaker installed ~2 weeks ago.:)
Glad she's doing better. My grandma has a pacemaker. She just fainted one day and went into hospital.
She's had a stroke too and unlucky for me I was there when it happened & only very young :(

Recent talk about marrying batteries came to mind this morning when I watched this vid recently posted by Mooch whom I follow on FB.

Thank you! We've all been waiting and waiting for this!

I'm back after a 3 day, 3 night forced hiatus. I was sitting here at the computer Monday evening about 5pm and got real dizzy, then blacked out and started convulsing. The whole episode lasted about 10 seconds, and it took awhile to figure out just what had happened, and I waited about an hour and it happened again. this time I told the wife to get me up to urgent care. It happened again on the way there, and several times while checking in and being seen by the staff, and doctor. They put me on the EKG machine and called for an ambulance. Once I left there and was admitted to the ER it didn't happen again until later in the day on Tuesday, and a few more times during that day, and Wednesday. During my stay there I had a cat scan on my head, and lungs, then an ex ray of my chest and lungs, an angiogram on all the main arteries from my heart, and up thru the neck. What it finally came down to was the bottom half of my heart was skipping a beat and not getting blood to the brain. So last nite they installed a pacemaker, and said problem solved. Man that was some scary stuff going on there.
Fortunately, that was the only thing they found wrong, and fortunately that after 55+ years of smoking, and 7 years of vaping, everything else is working as it should. I think I'm lucky.
Now I just gotta catch up on my sleep. Not one decent night's sleep in the last three nights. ZZzzz.
