Spent 12 hours yesterday chasing around after a 4 year old GGD. 10 in the morning until 10 at night. She never even slowed down. Normally when the weather is good I can get a bit of a rest when she goes in the swimming pool but it sprang an air leak last week and I had to junk it. Getting a new one this weekend. I must have covered 5 miles around the yard and down by the river. Mother picks her up at 3.00am after a day at college followed by a night shift. I've been doing that 3 days a week. She starts pre-school at the end of this month so I can get back to being retired. Now I know why only the young have children.

I was behind on tank maintenance. Only had 2 tanks with good coils and wicks when the kid arrived yesterday, luckily they lasted me through the day. So now I'm doing wicks and coils and probably won't move from the kitchen table all day.

Vapemail arrived. Two Charon mini, coils, batteries, charger, bubble glasses, Kanthal wire, Propaganda and Dinner Lady Summer e-liquids, replacement pods for the Fit.

On the other hand, we are beginning the third week of an heatwave here in the UK. "Good weather" is a misnomer, we are all suffering because of the heat.
And because extended periods of intense heat are unheard of here in the UK, there are no places which have air conditioning -except the car.
So, I can't really enjoy the new gear.

We had a high yesterday of 122f. I have never seen it this hot here before, and especially this early. Later in the summer, 100-110 is pretty normal for short stretches, or was. I don't think this summer is going to be normal in any way. North of us, they are having heat and fires, I really feel for them.

This is the battery which come with the Puxos kit.
I thought it was a AVB, but behaves differently. It needs few cycles to reach capacity and raise terminal voltage. I measured 15 milliohm with a 2 Amp load.

Can you say how much does the puxos weigh?

It's only 86F here in middle Georgia, but the humidity level is 72%. Once you walk outside it wraps around you and you can't shake it, even in the shade. It stays with you and you can't get away from it unless you have a cool pool. :)

It's a good day to stay inside with the AC. Usually, on a Saturday I can hear lawn mowers running in the neighborhood. Today It's dead quiet outside.

I can't say because I don't have a scale handy. It has a thin steel frame, the rest is all plastic.
By hand feeling, it has the same weight of the battery. It is, by far, the lightest mod I have. It is not, by any means, a quality mod, it has limitations in terms of circuit efficiency and the internal charger leaves a lot to desire. But it seems reliable for what it is, it is cheap, and I am enjoying it now for MTL because of its feather weight.

I gotta get a humidity gage, altho our humidity has got to be as close to 0 as it can get, think Death Valley humidity.

We have an Accurite electronic weather station that we like. It's a color LCD screen that displays temp, humidity, Atmospheric Pressure, along with a pictorial prediction of the weather forecast ... Sun, Clouds, Sleet, Rain, etc. The wireless sensor unit goes outside in a shady spot and provides temp and humidity readings to the main unit inside. It's fairly accurate and only needs batteries once a year or less. They have pages of various units.

I'm just gonna indulge my hobby-horse. On a day when you know it is going to heat up, look at that humidity number in the morning, and keep looking through the day. As it gets hotter, the relative humidity will keep getting lower. Does that mean it is any less sticky and miserable? Not bloody likely!
If you would like a better reference, and a way to actually compare the humid feel of one clime to another, look at the 'dew point temp' available on your local NWS page. Some enlightened TV weathermen/women are giving it too. It doesn't change with the heat of the day, because it is not relative to temperature.
For those of you in temperate areas dewpoints under 55 are pleasant, over 65 is getting quite sticky. Check out the desert areas to really understand that 'dry heat' thing. Ours last week was 81! That is wet!
Good explanation from the weatherman:
Dewpoint vs. Relative Humidity

I beg to differ with the site. I don't know what area this info is coming from, certainly not where I live. I don't know the accuracy of my digital thermometer, but I think it's not too far off. It's 120f here now. The humidity I can't speak for, but seems drier than what they are showing.
