Total Beginner Questions on REO

Hi Rhapsodiesfire,

I've noticed this very nice-looking REO in another thread, and admired it. Can someone please tell me what cartomizer/attomizer and/or drip tip is being used on this one? I'd like to set mine up the same way, one day.

No problem.
That is a Cisco 2.0Ω 306 Atomizer with a pyrex 306 drip tip. The atomzier can be bought here --> LR306 Low Resistance Atomizer 2.0 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper and the drip tip was purchased here --> 306 Pyrex Glass Drip Tips
Since these tips are handmade-ish...they don't all fit the same way. They are not perfect. And most of them don't fit all the way down on the atomizer...I like using them on my wood mods because the catch cup is tall enough that you don't notice that it doesn't go all the way down.
So if you decide to get one or two...don't force them all the way down...you will break the glass. Also...sometimes they get stuck on the atomizer. Alice taught me to put it in the freezer for about an hour. That cold shrinks the metal or glass and it loosens right up.

I use a drip tip on Cartos on my REO, but I don't drip, it is just much more comfortable for my lips, and they are much nicer looking.

For non-bottom-fed mods and e-cigs, the drip tip is meant to have juice dripped through it to get to the atomizer. For bottom-feds, you squonk to achieve the same result - juicing the atty - it's just from the bottom instead of the top. You can still drip into the tip if you're sampling a new flavor, though.

The juice does not reach the drip tip at all. A little condensation might form in it though. For REO users the drip tip is just for comfort and looks!

Got my Woodvil 18490 today. Thank you REO for the quick shipping and excellent packaging. No batteries yet, but they ought to be here tomorrow. Looking forward to trying it out.

Question: Is the Woodvil MINI smaller than the one I just got?

I must say that I think the REO website would benefit from more information on each item page (dimensions, battery type needed, dry weight, etc). It's hard to find that information on the site, and for newcomers -- or even people (*gasp*) who are not members of this forum, it would be extremely helpful

By the way I also got my Alien Visions liquid. So I am finally set up to do some real, all-day 100% VG vaping. I've got Boba loaded in my REO Grand at the moment. Thank you to all who made suggestions and helped me out in this thread. I appreciate how helpful and friendly you all are here. It's sort of a life-or-death "hobby" we have, isn't it?

The Mini Woodvil is the same height as the 18490. But the 18490 is just a little wider and thicker. Feels just right in my hand! Not that thinner and narrow feels bad. Just kinda like the, wait, where was I going with this?

I love the 18490, but the smaller girth of the Mini Woodvil is more comfortable in my hand.

This has been brought to my attention recently by another member and it has been addressed. New text has been written, it just needs to be added. Rob has been terribly busy and will post the new text on the site soon.

A little dusty in my apartment, obviously.

No battery or juice in the Woodvil, but the Grand is holding Alien Visions' "Blend 4," a good tobacco-flavored 100% VG 12mg. nic. Very enjoyable so far.
