I can find Everclear here in Louisville but it can be expensive to use for cleaning purposes. It kind of sucks paying what is essentially a tax on getting drunk and then... not getting drunk. I try to use the large plastic bottles of very cheap vodka (they are like 5 bucks) for most purposes.

If you don't mind my asking, where are you getting 150 proof pure grain alcohol, and at what price?

Here in Phoenix, our Everclear is 190 proof (95% alc by vol), and it's 17 bucks for 750ml.

My mistake, it is 190 proof, "Golden Grain" It was pretty cheap at Liquor Barn on Hurstbourne, but I don't remember the price (I think less than $10 for 750ml)

I am up and running guys -- my REO is in full effect. batteries charged, tank filled, vapor filling the air.

So, I know there are plenty of subforums for this question, but since you all are such a friendly bunch I thought I would ask here, if it's okay...

I need some recommendations of 100% VG tobacco-flavored liquid. 14mg nic. ideally.

What do you guys like? Names and links would be great :)

Roland.

You might take a look at Alien Visions, they have a good variety of tobacco juices in 100% VG. Boba's is one of my all day vapes, along with Gorilla Juice. I think their shop has limited hours till after the holidays, but I was able to get an order in Wednesday and it was in the mail box today. Plus their Boba's, Gorilla and I think Raf-a-licious are currently 20% off.

Here is more for 100% VG juice. I have heard from a few people that they are really great! BlueMist Vaping Supplies

Backwoods Brew has excellent flavors, all of them in fact, but I don't think his are 100% VG.

This is what I found on their website:

Our Ingredients:

100% Pure Vegetable Glycerin USP, Kosher - Vegetable Glycerin is water soluble and hypoallergenic. Vegetable Glycerin is used for both external and consumable use in hunderds of thousands of products marketed in the USA. Vegetable Glycerin moisturizes, softens, lubricates and cleanses skin, and is also used as a natural low-glycemic sweetener. Glycerin is currently categorized by the American Dietetic Association as a carbohydrate. It is found in cough syrups, elixirs and expectorants, toothpaste, mouthwashes, skin care products; shaving cream, hair care products, soaps and water based personal lubricants.

100% Pure Propylene Glycol USP, Kosher - It is a colorless, nearly odorless, clear, viscous liquid with a faintly sweet taste, hygroscopic and miscible with water, acetone, and chloroform.

So maybe you have to request 100% VG in the comments.

Thank you again to everyone. Yes, I have heard the same thing about Backwoods, and I ordered some before I knew of my intolerance to PG. It is a good flavor, but it closes my throat like all PG liquids. So I will try to contact them in the new year and ask about 100% VG with the same flavors.

Is there any problem with not holding the REO Grand upright? Can it be held horizontally? Or is it built to be held upright only?

By the way, I love the thing so far, and now I want a mini wooden one.

Thank you.

Why is it that when I put it down for 20 minutes or so, the first few hits are so burnt tasting?

Is there a way to avoid that  ?

If it has been awhile since you have squonked and the atty is pretty well dry when you put it down then you might need to draw on it or squonk a little before you fire the atty. Yes, the juice can go back into the tube too.

If you set it aside, the juice will tend to go into the overflow well. Give it a short sharp pull before you fire it. That should pull the juice back into the atty.

Oh, and I'm not a tobacco flavor fan, but everyone seems to like AVE. Flavors do change when the proportion of PG and VG changes, and Ben (AVE) is a VG specialist.

Streptile, have you considered just making your own juices (DIY)? You can buy nicotine in VG online and pick up straight VG and flavorings locally (VG at drug and grocery stores, flavors at hobby shops, cake/candy supply houses, wal-mart, etc), then you'd have total control of everything that goes into what you vape. If you like cooking at all, you'll love DIY. It's not hard, and it's so much cheaper than buying ready-made juices too.
