Yeah I still keep and use my cig-sized batteries with really strong juices in cartos in the rare instance that I'm out. I'm usually at home though so these big but slightly clumsy batteries (I REALLY dig my fat-batt 1300mah Vision Spinner) and tanks are my favorites. Haven't got into the dripping thing but I aim to.

dripping is great for alternating between flavors. I DIY my flavors and dripping is essential for fine tuning my mixes.

I haven't posted in this thread for awhile, because I felt a little odd being one of the few not liking the T-3s. Well, today I received an 808-threaded vv battery (ordered before SI's big announcement). I'm happily vaping one of my T-3's right now. Cranking it up to 4.1 volts has made all the difference in the world. Plus I've adjusted the "airiness" a bit more. I had already plugged 2 of the holes, but it was still too airy for my taste. So I filled the 3rd hole with clear nail polish, then stuck a tiny needle in there & pulled it back out before the polish dried. Now it's just about perfect.

I'm doing the happy dance.

great news....its so good be a happy vaper hey moonstruck?:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: dance bananas

i like my cig size batts for cartos and vaping on the go. I often use SI devices with my ego twist with a shorty adapter. i haven't heard much about the spinner: it sounds like a twist with an 808 thread. i mostly use the twist for dripping.
Yes the "Spinner" is very much like a "Twist". The big difference is that you can see the setting MUCH easier.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I use one on an auto X2 all the time, but just with SI RY4 and it's really great, at least to me. It does hit "harder" when the battery is freshly charged, but is fine until the very end of the charge. All in what your taste buds can discern, your expectations of vapor output and how much throat hit you want I guess.

I agree,,,,,

They work fine on my X2 autos,,,just a cooler vape,,,

but i do prefer them on the X2 manuals.

or my manual egos.

Man that stuff really IS great, isn't it?! Doesn't play well with regular cartomizers though, at least in my limited experience. I got a small bottle of it when I first started vaping and was only using 808, small cig-style batteries and regular filler-based cartomizers. Didn't do JACK and I wondered what all the fuss was about. But in a T3 it really comes to life!

Yes it really is good. I am going to have to get a 100ml bottle at this rate. I have the last of it in my 2 vivi novas but man its a lot better in the T3 @ 4.5v. That seems to be my sweet spot on every juice I've tried in it. So far its been bobas bounty from avejuice, poison from rawr vapor and right now i just filled it with mad hatter smooth from kvs. All of them are rocking in the T3 and the flavors are great!

While we anxiously wait for the Spinner, seems lotsa folks are thinking the same thing. The T3 likes more power. For me, since it is great off a fresh battery, I think the sweet spot will be somewhere slightly higher than 4.2v.

On the x2 Clearos, I have no idea, but think 4.2 is good mostly.... maybe more dependent on juices.

On the CE3's, I'll be dialing down to 3.3v to start.

on my twists...4.2 will give me a burnt taste,,,,i use 2 joyteche ego 1000's with 2.5 ohms coils.

i perfer 3.4 to 3.8,,,,but i hold the button down a little longer,,just a habit i guess.

I use an auto and take a VERY long draw, so I tend to prefer 3.6 volts myself.

Again, different preferences for different people (or something like that. Strokes? Folks? Whatevs). My cousin prefers his Ego thread T3 on VV at 4.4 volts, I think it tastes like a fireplace. But he takes shorter, harder pulls than I do and that's probably the difference there.

T3's at 1.9 - 2.2 Ω. 60/40 DIY flavors.
For me its all about the juice. My vv's are 1300 Spinners, generally around 3.9v. But a couple come in at 3.7v

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet (lots of pages to go through :D) but I've separated my heads into darker juices and lighter juices. I've been rinsing my heads about every 2-3 fills and the lighter ones, especially the ones that have had menthol run through them (MBV Solar Flare For The Win!) clean up to like new each time.

The heads I've used on darker juices seem to work better when soaked for more than 24 hours and I've only had one head shoot craps on me. However, that head was a test, I wanted to see how many tanks of dark juice I could run through it before it flat out stopped and I believe it was something ridiculous like 10 fills before it started getting dodgy. I attempted to clean it and scrape some gunk from the coil but it was a goner.

I will say I never do dry burns because I don't really know what I'm doing and I also can't imagine it's good for the wicks.

The only thing that makes me sad is my shiny new blue T3 started leaking around the bottom of the tank where the plastic meets the chrome :(
