Well, I hate to be unoriginal but, damn, I sure do like these T3's on my X2! Great flavor, good vapor, and it takes, what, about 2 secs to fill? Actually, I only fill mine halfway, a full one would last me several days and I like to switch between flavors more often that that. Got two, will be ordering more soon.

'Nother vote for SI to get the mini's. And make the tip smaller.

I 2nd this idea!

I usually have three going at once:
1 with unflavored pg/vg/mg(nic) for cleaning the pallet(like wine tasting)
2 with flavor so I can trade off to keep the flavors as much as possible. Flavor seems to fade after awhile. Doesn't hurt if they have juice in them for a day or two.

And finally, to give the heads a rest so they don't over heat.

how about silly putty? just a little to fill holes.

That is freakin' awesome! I want one!

That avatar could work!

Sent from an Etch-A-Sketch using a penny, nickel and lemon for power and two paper clips for an antenna.

And I want your etch-a-sketch!! :D

Yup, leaking... Still haven't tried the 2nd one yet... Decided to fiddle with the first one a bit more...

(Sigh ...) I know what you mean. But at least mine wasn't leaking. Sure would like to find something good that doesn't leak, doesn't require fiddling, and works right out of the package the first time and every time.

Also got my new sky blue 900mah X2 manual and it's freakin awesome. And as a side bonus, its size is much better proportioned to the T3 and my setup no longer looks so top heavy.

Didn't take me long to go from "I'll never want a big batt" to having a 650mah X2 as my reserve battery... haha!

I'm now considering a 1300mah for these babies.

I can easily vape one of these in a day, but yeah, that tip is HUGE. I would go for the mini.

Well, I have to admit that I'm still not exactly loving the T-3. It's performing well, but my juices taste better in the X2 clearo. I think I just prefer a warmer vape. But maybe a bigger or even vv battery would work better with this, I don't know. Not saying it's bad; it's definitely vapeable. It's just not hitting my sweet spot. I might need to adjust my juices or something.

In agreement with you on these points! :thumb:

I found a way of blocking the air holes that is working great for me & it's not permanent like glue. I just rub the knurled part on a candel till the hole is filled with wax. It stays in place til I punch it out with a pin. Works great for me.

Thanks Butch for suggesting this! The wax in two holes works like a charm!! Now I'm really enjoying the draw, vapor and flavor for the 1st time... and on my auto X2!!

I also like the fact that it comes off when cleaning. Great temporary fix!

I am liking my T3 more and more.. I have added 2 to my mix, and as long as I keep 2 holes covered, it is almost as good as my CE3 for taste and matches it for vapor production. It may just be in my head, but on a fresh hot battery, the T3 seems less prone to burn. I believe the CE3 is very sensitive and does not like the higher voltages, but I think the T3 is better.

Can anyone with a VV batt, CE3 & T3 confirm that this is not just all in my head???

Well, I don't have a VV batt, just an X2. But..... I have noticed the X2 does seem too "hot" for my CE3's also... More so with "light" flavored juices (lemon aide and spearmint), less with "heavier" juices (RY4 and Gandalf), but definitely present on all flavors all the way through the charge for me (not just fresh off the charger)...

For those of you wanting pics, here's the T-3 on my red 650mah X2:

IMG_0063.jpg IMG_0065.jpg

As you can see, it's almost as tall as the battery. It's approx. 6.5" from tip to tip. And of course, it would be more on a 900 or 1300 mah.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Well, my SI t3 arrived yesterday and I immediately "doctored" two of the air holes to get the drag right for me. Looking at it, it's really no different than a Kanger except that the battery contact post seems a tad longer or higher. I filled it with SI RY4 this afternoon and have been enjoying on an X2-650 on and off ever since. Vapor production is higher than a clearo and I like a cooler vape, so it's great for me. I have noticed a difference in flavor compared to a T3 on my iTaste and attribute that to the difference in working voltage, I set the iTaste at4.1 volts versus the nominal 3.7 of an X2. Not a big difference and certainly more than acceptable to me. As long as there are no production changes it will be a winner!

It really depends on the juice. I have to dial my Spinner back to a dial setting of ~3.5V to not burn NicQuid Smooththol. Volt Ice Menthol starts to cook at around 3.7V. Caveats: These settings are for batteries coming right off the charger. The Spinner dial does not track very well with actual loaded voltage output. The Kanger coils can vary widely from their "nominal" value-usually higher rather than lower. Not sure about the SI coil heads since I only have a couple to evaluate and they're in use now :) All of my Volt 650 manuals will toast a CE3 right off the charger with either of the aforementioned juices. As always, YMMV.

How are you liking the Spinner? I carry my e-cig in my shirt pocket, and a 650 Spinner seems to be the best fit in a VV battery.

hrumph.. just discovered that the T3's don't have an inner thread going to get em on my 78mm batts. I thought that was part of the charm of SI - that everything fit everything

In other news (yes.. minor thread jack) I talked to a clerk at the liquor store while getting a tiny bottle of crap vodka to clean my stuffs with about the e cigs.. Volts.. SI and the forum.. could be a new body tonight.. her new years res is to quit analogs and it isn't going so well. One mention of whipped cream flavor and her eyes lit right up. YEAH! my first possible stranger convert!

Since I'm turning (have turned) into a vapoholic, I opted for the 1300 Spinners and prefer them over the 1000 Twists. For me, they seem to charge faster, definitely hold a charge longer and have superior setting markings. They're the same length as an X2900 while the 1000 Twist is um really long and skinny. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to dabble in VV on a budget. APV in the mail :D

After using my T-3s exclusively yesterday, I am happy to report I am liking them more & more. Maybe it just needed a breaking-in period, or perhaps I'm the one who needed time to get used to it.

I do seem to like the taste & TH better on my freshly-charged 900. That's why I'm thinking a vv battery is in my future.

I'm REALLY enjoying the SI T3s as well. Vaping some caramel apple pie from juicyvapors right now and it's stupid how great and accurate the flavor is to me! I'm using T3s almost exclusively now, since the CE3s haven't been "fixed" yet and the nano that I tried did almost nothing. Very little vapor, very muted flavor. Useless. Maybe I got a dud. Too bad too, they would be great on-the-go. Not that I ever "go" ANYwhere, but still....
