Omg, I know I shouldn't have, but I just peeked into the ProVari thread.
Warning: mods are carpet bombing tonight.

Heh. I don't even look into those. I'm never likely to be able to afford one, so what do I care? :D

This one might surprise you. :) Start at the back.

Anything over $50, I stop looking at it and go on to the next thing. There *may* come a time when I don't have to be so parsimonious, but I'm not going to hold my breath, and looking at expensive toys will just frustrate me -- actually I just came back from looking at pics of a Poldiak and gnashing my teeth, 'cause that's outta my league too. :grr: But, I found a Sigelei that looks a lot like the Roller mod, and it's only $40, like my other Sigelei, a Zmax v3, and I completely love that one, so I'm thinking the Sigelei mech is probably a pretty nice mod too -- and I could afford it!

And anyway, fanboys give me a pain. :D They're amusing for about 5 minutes and then I just wanna smack 'em. :D

This IS the largest electronic cigarette forum in the world

Yes, but do you have any idea how much is written about vaping, not just here, but all over the internet? The world is an open book on any subject, vaping included, with the advent of the internet. All the info, good and bad, is out there...not just here......for anyone to make of it what they want.

I'm way more concerned about the "staggering opportunities for invasion of privacy" and "profit-seeking data collectors" who track my likes and dislikes, and everything else I do. Then there is NSA, as well as having my credit cards, and other info used fraudulently, etc.

What people have to "say" about vaping, or any other subject, is not something that bothers me at all. Opinions aren't exactly earth-shatteringly fear-provoking

I deplore aggressive and stealthy marketers and I hope the FTC will continue efforts to ensure they don't run away with your entire identity.

The other thing about profiling is that politicians use it too. "Politicians are more likely to fuel this trend than combat it. Although balkanization of the population inevitably makes policy-making more contentious and challenging, splitting up the electorate has traditionally served electoral purposes. The same logic that leads marketers to subdivide audiences appeals to candidates seeking votes."

So-----I'll not be "used" because I vape, or love animals, or eat organic foods, or anything else......by politicians (who really don't CARE about vaping anyway...except that it's a weapon they can use IMHO). It's not going to determine HOW I vote. There are many issues to take into consideration, vaping is only one.

This is also huge......cyber security threat.......snooping, spying, malicious stealing: those flashlight apps that build a profile on users:
snopes.com: Flashlight App Dangers
SnoopWall » SnoopWall

In other words, my ability to vape is not more important than my ability to protect my privacy, my information, my demographics, etc. and I am not going to be used by lawyers (many cases are researched on facebook, they are not paying you, just gathering) or politicians.

I don't block any users or trolls I don't mind seeing the trolls post with single minded agendas it gives you something to chuckle at and you can often see them contrdicate themselves many times. I always get a laugh when someone says their not addicted to nicotine but then says if they can't vape liquid with nicotine then they must smoke and then in the next post they will say vaping isn't like smoking and repeat their not addicted to nicotine and they fight every poster who doesn't think like they do. Its like watching a mouse on a wheel. Makes no sense.

I am a Provari fan...it is one of the mods I own, love and use. Are you going to want to smack me now? That's not very nice.

What happened to remembering that there are persons on the other end of the keyboard? :)

Btw, if you are having a bout of shinitus on a budget, take a look at the eleaf I stick...cute little thing....

Uh oh...I suggested a mod....look for trolls now....that is troll food, gourmet troll food if it were a Provari.

Lol...oh I get it now....you are trolling the trolls who are trolling the beans

Oh the flashlight thing...if you read all of the way to the end, they say that all Android apps that ask for too many permissions have the potential to steal your data....I hate that about Android apps.
