I have a question if anyone cares to reply. Right now I see a few vendors who are accepting orders without adult signature. I'm sure they are not following PACT. How would I know if they are and if they are going to report my name/info with the tract and trace?

Another thing I was thinking as well. If I order from a vendor who is following PACT act would they disclose "track and trace" somewhere in the check out?

I feel that if I order a product I should know exactly why and who is going to retain my info and for how long? Anyone know?

I haven't been able to find this info either. As a result I refuse to order anything from anyone. If I buy anything I will drive the 100 miles+ to get to a vape shop. When they close I will function on my own as best I can.

A this point I think it's best to assume you're identity and purchase data will end up in the hands of the tribe.

So the next question would be, "do I really need anything else or am I just panic buying?"

Who should know when it's time to bail and get a consult from a specialist.
A quick Google search and I come up with this:

    E-Cigarette & Vaping Industry
"Recent years have seen a marked surge in the sale and use of electronic cigarettes and other vaping products, with the global e-cigarette market exceeding $12 billion in 2019 and the WHO reporting in 2018 that over 41 million people worldwide use vaping products. Recognizing the regulatory challenges this trend presents, we have positioned ourselves at the forefront of addressing the evolving issues facing clients in the vaping industry.

Setting the Proper Framework for Industry Regulation
A team of Thompson Hine lawyers handled the landmark litigation that established the legal framework for the industry as it exists today, representing an e-cigarette distributor when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) directed Customs to detain inbound shipments of its products at U.S. ports of entry because the FDA claimed that e?cigarettes were an unapproved new drug-device combination under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act). Our team successfully argued that e-cigarettes are the functional equivalent of traditional cigarettes and should be regulated as such. The decision resulted in a clearer definition of the FDA’s scope of authority to regulate e-cigarette use in the United States under the FD&C Act and the 2009 Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.

    Advising on Regulatory Compliance............"

NOTE: I have no connection with, nor do I know anything about this law firm - Apparently they specialize in vaping from the industry view and not the litigation most law firms specialize in that are against the vape manufacturer.

I haven't bought a thing since last Thursday. Most of the vendors are sending emails enticing me to buy :) I'm done and will wait this out. I am weak and still get tempted to buy something.

I did place an order on the 27th thinking it was still the 26th, that will teach me to stay up late looking at my email. I'm so mad at myself really, it was a small purchase but I swore I wouldn't buy anything post PACT. They didn't charge for or reference adult signature required, or charge me my state eliquid sales tax so I'm not sure what to expect. It might come adult signature required anyways. It's messed up really and we buyers seem to be caught in the crossfire.

MFS (My Freedom Smokes) has jacked the price of 1 liter 100mg nic from $65 to $86 dollars.

I'm still seeing $65 at MFS. Just checked it now and been checking the sites that are left daily and updating my blog if needed. Only company that raised it price was CXT about a week or so ago, about $10.

I'm surprised everyone didn't raise their prices about a month ago when PG started getting more scarce.

FDA considered nicotine cessation a "medical treatment" (under the domain of pharma). Always has.

We aren't about nicotine cessation, really. It's about tobacco harm reduction and free choice. Vaping has never marketed itself in the same manner as smoking cessation products. Yes, people managed to quit smoking by vaping and many have boasted about it. But vaping is a safer alternative to smoking, not a safe alternative to smoking, and only a few go on to break the nicotine addiction.
