just got my V2 today.... don't like the switch. if i don't press it right then i'm just puffing air. looks nice, and i like the smaller design.

how come the V1 switch works every time, but the V2 switch is finicky?

Give the switch a bit of time to break in. It needs to be pressed straight down and up -- Something a bit different then our old tact switches.

They need to start blowing these out or something. LOL

LOL -- The media blaster has been down and out for a few months because of water in the lines. We actually blasted a few pieces today. Besides the Delrin turning grayish ... it did quite a nice job :) Not as nice looking as shiny black but it got ALL loose particles out of there :)

I never see the color of it when I'm vaping :)

LOL ... True ... I'm weird about making sure everything looks perfect ...

Example -- All fittings (threads, etc...) on the next production runs are going to be Stainless. Tired of brass and how quick they tarnish. All contact posts will be stainless .... Pretty much, no more aluminum or brass (minus the contact disk) Tarnish and Oxidation is a major evil of puresmoker :-x

Good news. I agree that the brass is problematic. Let us know when "pure stainless" adapters are available. I'll be first in line to buy one.

Jova... is your V1 mechanical?

*just stating this for the experience I had with my V2*

My V2 switch was kinda goofy at first but after a few minutes either it settled in or I learned how to push it. It does feel and actuate differently than the V1 tact switch.

You may also want to open it up and check to be sure there's no Derlin (black plastic) flakes getting under the contacts. Just a thought...

V1 is the first run V1 with the old adapter and i'm guessing a tact switch.....

and i took the button out of the V2 to make sure there was no plastic in there, almost lost the spring and button.

all around I do like the V2, smaller and everything. either i'm getting used to the button or it's wearing in, but now it's only misfiring every 5-6th hit. were as right out the bag it was like every other hit. the V1 i was using my index finger and i'm just getting used to using my thumb.

I have the mechanical switches for all my units now (5) but I've taken to pulling the rings off of the buttons and dragging them across 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper 10 or so times to really shine them up and clean up and little imperfections in the surface that I thought might be causing a hit and miss contact. For me. it seems to cure it.

Glad it's getting better for you. I'm really liking the higher voltage after a week or so using it. Took me a little bit to get use to with the cartomizers. It's a lot easier to toast an atty. Just a small learning curve like anything else.

still don't understand the cartomizer thing.

Whattaya mean you don't understand the cartomizer thing?
Do you mean what it is and how it works?

If so then Bamm ....
It's the atty and the cart all in one. I can fill one with about 30 drops (roughly 1.5ml) and it'll last me all day @ 3.7v and about three or four hours on the V2 @ ~5v, but here's the beauty (for me). When I notice it's starting to produce a little less vapor or whatever I just pop the top and rewet it with 10 or so drops and it goes again for three or four more hours. If I'm vaping something I really like like blueberry or sour apple, I'll run the same cart for a day or so until I want to change flavors.

Then I just cap that one and start another (same as above) until I want a flavor change.
If I wanna go back to the first flavor I just pull the caps and go.

Never had one leak or dry out while in storage due to the rubber caps they come with.

If your vaping @ ~5v you have to watch it a little until you get use to it or you'll burn it (bad taste), but @ 3.7v they're a little harder to burn.

You could take four or five carts/atomz and 30ml of your favorite juice and be gone a week easily. You could do it with one or two but ya wanna have an extra clip (cart/atom) in the field.

For me they're so much easier than dripping or refilling cartridges for a 510 or __ (insert the adapters you use here), but again that's just me.

There area a few cart filling vidoes and techniques discussed here on the forum and plenty of videos on UTube.
