Not arguing with ricks here, at all, as everyone has their own way of vaping. There's no right or wrong...but, most would say "no". There's no way the Nano is a MTL tank. I own one and there's no way to close the airflow down enough for a good draw. Add to that the chamber size and overall airflow design. Great single coil flavour tank for DTL, but not MTL.
If I close the air on my 2 it restricts it 100%... Air Tight... It IS a great MTL tank. Ask others.

I think you have a defective one if you can't MTL it.

i was only semi aware of the Nano from general browsing about and kind of assumed (without looking into it) that it was`nt MTL, i agree there`s no right or wrong way and whatever works.
Ask others who really own and use them. It is a great MTL tank

I never said I couldn't mtl the Nano, I can. As I can with any number of DTL tanks. The fact that I can, however, doesn't mean it's a good MTL experience. There's more to a good MTL than airflow that can be closed down. If it works for your vaping style, great, I won't say you're wrong, but the Nano wasn't designed to do MTL and that's very apparent when trying to use it in that way. It meets your needs, but it won't for most who are looking for a good MTL vape.

You said "There's no way the Nano is a MTL tank"... I've just never heard anyone complain that it was not a good MTL tank. You are the first for me...

So I waited a few days after I received mine before I chimed in on this tank. Truth be told, when I first built on it, and tried it out, I didn't like it at all. I had a ton of gurgling, the draw was even tighter than I like it, and from what I've been told, I like a fairly tight draw.

But that 4.5ml capacity told me to keep trying, so that's what I did. After moving a bit outside of my comfort zone, and trying a few different builds, I found myself down at a 2.5mm ID coil, with a tiny little wick, and on 28g Kanthal at 1.8ohms. And it is glorious.

No gurgling, no leaking, and since I filled it the first time, I've only had to refill once because of the capacity. I'm really glad I played around with it until I found something that worked, because I get the feeling that this will be my go to tank for some time. I just ordered two more from 3FVape, only $30 each and free shipping. Couple of weeks from now, I'll be set for a while!

That's a standard build for me in all my MTL tanks. Might go down to 1.3ohms or somewhere in between every now and then depending.

Anyway, just ordered my berserker, should have it in a few days. Looking forward to it!

After a few days use, here are my thoughts. I have a SS and a black one. I used the same build in both: 6 spaced wraps of 27 gauge kanthal, 2.5mm diameter, resistance about 1.10 ohms. No issues capturing the leads with round wire. Building was/is easy and quick, and so is the wicking. I used rayon and the liquids I chose were 70VG/30PG.

The black one, I top filled; the SS bottom filled.

The black one gurgled, the SS smooth as silk. The tanks lasted a full day in use. The black one I filled a second time, once again top filling. Top filling is a nightmare. The chamber flooded with liquid running from the airflow and seeping out onto the mod from underneath (airflow ring). The SS, bottom refilled -- no issues.

The liquids were custards and in my UD Bellus tanks, I usually get about 3-4 fills before having to change the wick due to coil gunk. The Berserkers: I couldn't even empty on the second fill since I could tell the coil was gunked. So about 1 1/2 full tanks. Most likely due to the heat in the tiny chimney chamber and frequent chain vaping.

I love the build quality of these, and enjoyed getting back to the tighter draw. But in future use, I have to use cleaner liquids, more fruits than sweet creams (less VG perhaps), and definitely NO TOP FILLING. An impressive little tank with a few caveats.

Damn. If that turns out to be the case for the one I ordered yesterday, it'll be going in the junk drawer. That's the main reason I bought it, hoping for a good top-fill system without issues. Guess I'll find out....
Its confirmed it leaks from top fill due to no jfc or shut off, shame it would be great otherwise ,

If you're getting gunning that fast then it sounds like your juice has a lot of sweetener in it, which I would definitely try to avoid either way.

As has been said elsewhere, initial disassembly takes some effort.

I'm using one of the provided Clapton coils for starters and a not-so favorite juice, but decent. The coil was initially .44 ohms but has settled in at .36. While I bottom filled it initially, I had to take the top back off to install the locking screw, so here for starters, I'm getting a little gurgling...no big deal and of course know why that is. I'm using the larger glass tank. Other than the small bit of gurgling, the draw is very smooth and the vapor fairly dense.

I blew the gurgle juice out into a napkin and solved that concern. Smooooth with 45 watt preheat for .4 seconds and 12 watts thereon. It is maybe a little hot on the lips and tounge, but I'll try a wide bore drip tip and see if that tames it a little. Wide bore helps and I've turned it down to 10 watts. Flavor is good. The atomizer base seems a bit hot, but it is not flush with the top of the battery device (Pico with notch in battery cap).

I think this will be an A-OK atomizer.

I have had zero issues with top filling. I'm using a 75%PG 25%VG juice, no leaking at all. The gurgling I faced in the beginning was happening regardless of how I filled, but I've done nothing but top fill since I got the coil/wick debacle figured out, and it's been smooth sailing.

For what it's worth, I have found that if I shut the air flow off, vape a couple of times, and then remove the top cap I get next to no flooding. I also tip the tank upside down as I screw the top cap back down. I'm currently using a 2.5 ID SS 316L, Rayon, and 50/50 fruit flavored juice. I have enjoyed this vape so much that these tanks have become both my commuter and home go-to's. Of course, this is JMHO and YMMV. :)

So after using this tank exclusively for couple days, gurgling with top fill and loose AFC ring are the only 2 issues with this tank. I've tried to close AFC and thicker juice (80% VG) - didn't help. Even with tank 1/4 full, try to unscrew the top cap a bit and you will see bubbles coming up, first symptom of flooding. Bottom fill - no issues (just keep an eye on that silicon gasket, it sticks to the bottom of the glass and can be easily lost).
Other than that it's a pretty decent MTL tank.
