Nova or adw have always been my personal favs.
Yes use tapatalk. Love it so much I've paid for it twice... I get notifications all damn day from 39 different threads I don't even care about :p works that well.
No liking on ecf for some reason. I'm able to like on android central though. Or thank. Not sure maybe both

Unfortunately, you can't 'like" posts or see your posts if they were liked.
The notifications work flawlessly though so it's good when you're not at a computer.

As for the launcher, I'll have to get back to you once I flash an AOSP ROM on this phone. It's my first foray into ICS also, so I'm not familiar with the best options available yet.

I'm totally over TouchWiz though, I can tell you that.

well if you like stock vanilla android i'd say the launcher to use would be nova, if you like some customization, use APEX launcher....i cannot recommend you going to ADW or GOlauncher in ICS as they are not optimized for ICS and will give you a black "menu" soft key on your touch screen when using them

Yea, on my accounts page, I go into settings right? Under Notifications & Sync, I click Notifications and Receive Notifications is checked, but if I click on either Private Message or Subscribed Topic it flashes a message that says "no accounts available for notification" :(

ok so i was digging through my bookmarks and stuff and couldn't find the guide i wrote about painting the hard plastic on an otterbox, so if you want to know how to do it, i'm simply going to write another guide, until then you can simply ask me questions, as it is a very simple process, and only requires about 4 items and a trip to the hardware store...will let you guys know when i have it up though

Go launcher is optimized for ICS. Has been for months.

I use it. No issues at all. For features, customization, and support there's no better launcher.

Apex and nova are ok, but lack so many features.

I'm a go junkie though...launcher, SMS, dialer, task manager, calendar, contacts, twitter widget.. Almost everything.

The latest update allows you to access your movies, music and pictures from the app drawer.. Brilliant!

Just started using speaktoit assistant, and i have to say,.I'm impressed. I actually froze s voice for the time being (there is no deodexed s memo app yet, and it can only save notes there. Speaktoit at least saves them to evernote)

Only things it could use are a wake up command and custom app filtering, and it would blue any other voice assistant away.. Check it out :)

Vaping since: a while
Cigarettes avoided: lots
Money saved: probably not
Devices: Yes
(insert crappy graphic and vendor logo here)

Guys, can you please tell me what the benefits are of rooting? I don't want to have to fiddle with stuff - once it's up and running do you have to do any fiddling with it?

For me the main reason well right now anyway with the nexus 7 being WiFi only is tethering for free.
Also I dislike the current official ice cream sandwich rom so I go with a custom that runs better and smoother.
