It's been brought to my attention that my shipping prices are "exorbant", especially for 10 ml bottles by the single. I would really like to hear feed back about this. I am completely open to feedback. If anyone feels I charge too much for shipping please let me know. I really do my best to offer the best value possible for the best product possible. What I charge for shipping is what USPS charges me for shipping, I don't make a cent on shipping. If anyone thinks my shipping is exorbant please let me know and I'll work with you all to make it inline with other vendors, even if it means eating into what little I actually make off of this.

My end goal is to make the community happy, not rip you off.

What do you charge to ship 1 bottle of juice? Knowing that would help to give feedback.

You can ship juice or drip tips in bubble envelopes 1st class with delivery confirmation for less than small flat rate box. I was surprised that you sent my drip tip in a flat rate box because it would have been cheaper for you to send 1st class with del conf. I don't mind waiting a couple more days using 1st class to save several dollars.

I charge all shipping at "small flat rate" so a bottle of liquid ships for $5.50 and 3 bottles ship for the same.. Anything over $60 is free. My issue currently is the following, I don't have a scale, and I'll have to spend some time retooling the store to accept "by weight" shipping calculations etc. Also it's much more time consuming on my end to weigh everything and print labels individually. Currently I press a button and print all the labels at once, package and I'm done.

Being this is all done in the hours from 6pm to 2 am (around my day job) I opted to do flat rate to save time since that is what I'm constantly short of.

TMcase, I know you have had to solution for this in the past. If you have any input please PM me with it:) I'd love to put in place an optional method for customers that costs less and doesn't impact the time it takes me to ship stuff out.

Stamps.com is what I use to ship packages and they provide a free scale and lots of labels. You can pick up more labels on ebay or Amazon for cheaps. Stamps.com also will ship free flat rate and priority and other boxes to your door. They also pick up packages from your home. It's so simple and I never have to go to the PO. BUT, you would still have to change your website to accept 1st class mail.

USPS also has a free click n ship online service but it doesn't allow for as many options as Stamps.com and they don't provide a scale.

Awesome, I'll have to see if I can make my store auto export to there. Right now I'm using the standard PayPal interface and shipping system. I just need to make sure whatever solution I go with is semi automated. If I take time from producing things then I won't have things to sell;) haha.

Thanks again TM!!

Congrats to Glassmanoak and Kilala! And, thanks to Dig for the fun contest!!!!!

I got my tip from last weeks win and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! This is the best tip I have ever had! It not only looks beautiful, but it feels wonderful! As I have said before, I can't use metal tips due to my contact nickel allergy. I usually use plastic, my favorite of those being the delrin.... However, these are a whole universe away from any plastic, delrin or acrylic tip! Darn!!!!! I am going to have to get some more of these! For anyone sitting on the fence, jump off right now, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I also got a bottle of Jungle Fever!!!! It smells great! I just have to find something to load it up into and off I go..... I can't wait!

One more thing: I think most vendors are using stamps.com. I think they will give you free postage money when you sign up. It does all the weighing and printing for you.... You would have to buy bubble envelopes, but you can get those wholesale for not a heck of a lot of money. I think in the long run, it would be cheaper for your customers and just as easy for you.....If they were glass tips, I would say to stick with the boxes, but in this case, you should be just fine with the bubble envelopes.... I even think you get a discounted postage rate if you go through stamps.com!

OK, I feel like I have written a book, here! Sorry! I am so excited and am totally in love with my new tip!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, I have been using the T3's a lot and they don't let you use your own tip. They come with a glued on mouthpiece which does leave a lot to be desired.... The bottom coils do work well though, but I have several different juices going all at once, so I have my new tip on my favorite one! :)

Thanks again TM!!

With Stamps.com you download software and do EVERYTHING from there, even buy postage and it saves all your clients addresses so you don't have to retype them and it also archives del. conf. # and sends out emails to your clients with the del. cont. # which is a time saver. So once your website is setup to accept 1st class mail, you'll save a lot of time in the long run. USPS Click n Ship does the same thing but you don't download software and there service is a bit limited as to what you can do. I'm very happy with stamps.com but there is a monthly fee after the 1st free month of $15 per month. It's money well spent for me to not have to go to the PO and be able to do everything in one place. :)

I'm not familiar with auto export so I can't help you there.

Just an update on the alternate cheaper shipping option... I checked into this solution and the first hurdle I've encountered is buying packaging, in minimal quantities I'm looking at $1.00 per piece in packaging which will minimize the savings to you the customer. I need to see cheaper options and evaluate how many I need to buy to make it efficient and cost effective on my end and yours. I will keep you all updated, I'm really working on it.

I get most of my supplies on ebay. Here is one for bubble envelopes which is really all you need to ship drip tips & juice.
