It is not vapers vaping in public places that are bringing on indoor bans, it is this:
I'm not crying for legislation, but a bill that has been presented to protect one's choice to not be "bothered" by vape regardless of their reasons, is a pro for me.
This mindset that because I might be "bothered" by something, not hurt or actually even offended, just bothered, it should be banned from happening.

This past weekend I went to old Sacramento, which if you've never been, has building from the early days of Sacramento, with boardwalks and shopping, horse drawn carriages, etc. On two different corners there were religious types shouting scripture. I'm not a religious man, these people were disrupting my afternoon, their voices carried pretty far. I would never think of asking them to stop though.

vaping is not a religion but I would guess that in terms of overall actual offensiveness, vaping scores lower than public sermons.

we already had the battery exploded in mod thread closed because some people got rambunctious which is a shame because there was some good info being given to battery noobs like myself..while i dont see much valuable info here on mod usage other than why we shouldnt vape in stores but we should still not step on toes of the forum rules and get this one shut as well..it will just make the mods and admin enforce stricter rules and lock this one as well and for most it may not mean much but for new folks looking to join and see bickering and child like fighting it may make them move on to other forums to get their info instead of joining us.
This is the worst of the mildest vape forum on the web.

If they go elsewhere because of this, they'll be severely disappointed.

True, any comment on the rest of it? That it's not the vapers but the "bothered" that are the source of legislation? I think I know the answer already, you are perfectly fine with something that bothers you being banned from public use. The question is, what happens when something you do bothers someone else?

Too heavy? You're normalizing obesity. No fat people allowed in Walmart!

I just has an epiphany... those who think vaping in walmart is absurd have never been in Walmart... the stress levels induced by being in Walmart are staggering, thus the reduction of stress is reduced by vaping... its a catch 22 in a sense... go to Walmart, get stressed, vape to relieve the stress by being in Walmart.... cause and effect and solution... Its all Walmarts fault we vape there ;)

Walmart would go broke if that happened

You mind, your decision.

I 100% agree with your personal choice to do as you have decided.

See now, did that hurt?

No, I was in a store and didn't feel the need to vape. For pete's sake, we should have some self control and not feel the need to vape in stores. We're not drug addicts.
why is it vapers that need to show self control.
how about you showing self control and not be offended
or annoyed by some thing that is harmless.
that would be refreshing.

Righteous! Congrats!

Now let's eliminate those inconsiderate ... holes blowing vape in your face EVERY time you shop.

So how many times has that been? In total?

I'm sorry, but if you're standing close enough to smell my stealth vape then you're too close. And that means you can smell my breath too. And I'm pretty sure if you can smell my breath then you want me to keep vaping so it stays minty fresh when you breathe my breath. So let's be real here: how close you are to another person and how big of a cloud you blow are what determine whether or not you're vaping politely-indoors or out. There are much bigger issues with air quality than vapor.
And for the record, yes I would vape in a crowded stuck elevator and chances are, nobody would have a clue. And if I didn't and the claustrophobia set it? Well, there's no way even the people on the outside of the elevator wouldn't know about that.
Let's be polite and vape on
