I'm afraid to try to vap in class (portland state university) to be quite honest with you. I would have to ask the dean.. I wouldn't just randomly try to vap in class since I don't want to offend people with it. It would be a good question to pose to the board though.

I believe I read here that someone else that goes to PSU does actually vape in class...If it were me, I would probably clear it with the instructor, give her a CASAA infrormation packet and if he/she said it was fine, I'd do it. If students were concerned, I'd have handouts at the ready. If they were still concerned, I'd probably just not vape in that class...not worth the hassle or the in your face, neener neener...doesn't do us vapers any good IMO.

BTW luckymisslucy and Shadzi...we're trying to do a get together with locals for a vape meetup...if you're interested, shoot me a PM and I'll add you to the list :).

I told an old lady that my ego tornado is a help to stop smoking real cigs and she thought that it was cool and she said that "hope this helps" and i said thanks to her.

My granny, who has never taken a puff of a cig or so much as taken a drink of alcohol in her life, loves my e-cig. She thinks it smells pretty. LOL

I have vaped at LAX, in the restaurant, was vaping in one of the most popular restaurants in Bev. Hills yesterday, vaped on a plane (in the bathrooms, though)...

Hey, some actress pulled out her ecig on David Letterman a few nights ago, and vaped. David Letterman was cracking up, and took her ecig and took a few drags on it! He loved it!

My feeling is, the more people begin to see vaping in public, the more acceptable it will get. It's the unknown that is a problem.

Once people have seen LOTS of other people vaping, and understand it is NOT smoke, it will become more acceptable.

I do NOT flaunt it, or blow smoke in people's face, but I don't hide it either.

The ONLY place I can think of that I was secretive about vaping is on a plane.

Maybe living in Los Angeles it's much more difficult to shock people... I don't know.

Haven't had one person get upset, or be rude about it in any way!
