I smoked for 45 years. While I will respect the rights of others I will not in turn bash someone for smoking. I like the smell of burning tobacco but have grown to dislike the smell of an ashtray.
When out and about, if I choose to vape, I go to the designated smoking area to do so. Sometimes, I get funny looks. Sometimes I get asked questions about my e-cig. If I can turn someone on to e-cigs and off of cigarettes, I will.
Smokers are welcome to my home . . . but are not allowed to smoke in my home. My choice . . . My home.
30 yr smoker here. At work vapers are permitted to vape in a lunchroom with a smoke booth in it. I still step into the smoker from time to time and am always ready to offer what I've learned in hopes to convert yet another smoker.
Same rule at my house too. I didn't smoke in it, neither is anyone welcome to do so. Of course with that, I never smoked in anyone else's home either.
