i carry my mod to office everyday. 1 question, if i were stopped at the mrt station for a security check, will i get into trouble if that lady finds it in my bag?

I've thought of the same exact scenario, mrt security stopping and checking the bag and found your EPV. I think they have no right to hold you back or confiscate your item. So don't worry about that.
