I know.....but only a fellow Marine would understand if I stated it that way.
Semper Fi.

And as one of my former XOs said, "They're civilians...no point rubbing their noses in it."

(Not that there's anything wrong with that! Some of my best friends are civilians...)

Or someone who knows and loves a Marine. My son is active duty, a Sgt. He's coming home for Christmas. Anyway LMAO, I could hear his voice making Crash's comment.

Your XO was a sharp dude, Crash. I like that line very much. :)

He also had a sign behind his desk that read, "The Stupid Shall be Punished"...so take it for what it's worth.:p

Well...this place just got a little more awesome...give him a big Semper Fi from me.

(Not that civilians aren't awesome! Sheesh...you guys are sensitive...)

Handwarmer and socks are both really good ideas. I'll keep them in mind.
I was kind of hoping to hear comments from fellow vapers back in Minnesota(where I was born and raised), Montana or Alaska--places where it really gets cold.
Outdoor vaping has got to be a challenge in those states when the mercury drops to the bottom of the glass.
I keep mine in the breast pocket on a shirt closest to the body . I dislike a frozen mod myself been there

I also work outside in the cold, at 11,000'. I do have to use different juices, the hand warmer is a huge plus though. Like anything in vaping, bring a backup warmer though. Still need that I an inside pocket at these temps though. Been using my dripper with bottle in warmer and it's great, but it the most convenient. Provari worked great and batteries didn't suffer too much.

Stick in your sock, that's where we kept our smokes when working on a fishing boat in the Bering Sea. We also got a certain hoody from Alaska Ship Supply that has a zip up pocket inside the front pocket. We would keep our smokes and lighter there too to keep the lighter warm and dry.

Zero degrees at the house this morning--10 below up on the logging site.
Skidder broke down just about at daybreak and had to mechanic the rest of the day.
My REO bottle was stiff and my juice flowed like sludge to the point where I unwittingly burnt my cotton wick in half. I thought my REO would be ok in those temps in my front shirt pocket but not so. My co-worker pointed out to me that a Bic lighter under the same circumstances often refuses to flame up. I had to find a way to vape on the way home, so I poked the burned off tufts of the wick under the coil and it worked well enough to get me home.
It was a long day.:)

Heheheh, it was just as bad this side of the Kettle Range. Come on over and set your reo on one of our pizza ovens, it will thaw out fast :)

SoCal
I'm a Cali boy so I don't know what sub zero temps feel like. But we've been having a cold front the past days mid 30s - 50s. My VG is thicker in the cold but I don't have any issues after I warm up the Reo with my hand. What's odd is I've been setting off my smoke alarm with only a few hits. Never happened before. I did some reading & found cold weather can affect smoke alarms. This is SoCal, it ain't supposed to be cold here but I am enjoying it! I hate hot weather.
