If our worst nightmare comes true and the fda gets there way and vaping as we know it changes in this country for the diehards it won't be the end. We will still be able to order mods and tanks only we will have to order them from overseas. They will risk being seized by Customs however as someone who has ordered Moderated from out of the country it will be no problem getting your gear.Moderated. The odds of having a item seized is around 4% of packages so I have heard.

Liquid nicotine will be able to come through international package. Mods and Rebuildable decks as well. Everything else will not be effected. Wire, cotton, PG/VG & flavorings will still be ready available. Also never underestimate the power of the American people to find loop holes to the laws. For those of us who want to vape we will be able to vape.

I really hope it doesn't come to this. Not for my sake but for all the people in the industry and all the people who would have quit smoking but didn't because of this ludicrous overstep of what should have been a simple few rules.

Then at the very least support your passion and the preservation for the future of vaping http://cqrcengage.com/casaa/app/write-a-letter?0&engagementId=101154

Are there people here not doing this? If so then why not?

I am the last person when I think about all the BS and hoops that people are going to have to go through to try and quit smoking, after 110 years of smoking going on, you would think that just maybe it was time for a change in the world, my heart is heavy but my spirit will always be tar free !

I wonder if juice with 0 nic will be controled as well. We could then add nic ourselves.

Your 0 / 6 / 12 nic juice will cost you 39.00 for 30 ml unless you live in the mafia owned states, then could be north of that figure and that's not the premium juice ...............
Controlled that's a "nice" word for it .............

i forget where i read it but even 0 nic juice will be considered to contain nic for the sake of the regulations. i think it said something like any liquid which could have nicotine solution added to it to form a vapeable liquid would also be considered a tobacco product. cant remember the actual wording but the result is the same. of course they cant do anything to regulate DIY juicers. they can just regulate the sale of the juice itself.

one thing i can see happening if restrictions are put in place is a shift towards flavor concentrates from fully premade ejuice. because ejuice flavoring is just food flavoring (which they would not in any way be able to regulate), companies can just release flavor mixtures which the end user adds VG and PG to in certain ratios to create the finished product as we know it today. it would be a bit more work but i dont see how that could be stopped. at that point even if nicotine is made a controlled substance you will always be able to purchase it and you can just add it to your mixture as well.

that would actually be a nice way around regulations. get a group of people together to buy some flavor concentrate which they share to create flavors themselves. or you could buy presized flavor packs which would make lets say 100mL of juice in a batch.

They can pass all the laws and regs they want. I can't wait to see what a debacle enforcement will be. There is no possible way they will be able to do it. With all the enforcement they do to stop the smuggling of all kinds of other stuff and how effective they are at it, do you really think that vaping supplies, including nicotine, will be suddenly unavailable? Not in the least, in fact, depending on who you know, it might get even easier to obtain. This whole thing is prohibition and the war on drugs all over again and will end with the same result.

If I were still a smoker, I could go to any one of about a dozen indian reservations and buy smokes at 30% of the cost, all tax free. I could buy brands that could only be purchased on the reservations, no approval from FDA required on these new brands. All these laws are going to change is who we get our stuff from, PERIOD. The government is powerless to stop that. They have tried multiple times and failed thanks to that little document known as the constitution. I would just start googling where the indian reservations are in your area and be ready to start dealing with them once the government decides they wish to loose even the sales tax they get from vaping now.
