As much as you guys hate "other stuff", you might want to start paying attention to the politics and strategies used in squashing bans and regulation nationwide.
In 3 years the entire landscape changed after 50 years of rabid prohibition started with false propaganda.
Common sense has begun to take over.
We could learn a lot from the strategies and gameplans used.

Sadly, many people have been tricked into believing this.
If truly believe this then they have won. Give up and beg for their mercy, because according to you all is lost.

I'm much older than many members here.
I'm not so easily fooled into giving up when told to do so.

Don't vote, don't get involved, sign petitions and rant amongst yourselves about how the government you
refuse to get involved with, won't recognize your cause.

Yeah You guys better stock up.
You can't win this fight.
You've beaten yourself.

You said this ... "We elect representatives of the will of the people". and I said "and then you woke up, nice dream I wish it were true".

Is it the will of the people that you have no effective health care system and many are one illness away from bankruptcy?
Is it the will of the people that US has the highest percentage of it's population in prison?
Is it the will of the people that the average cost of US tuition Is $29,408 Per Year?
Is it the will of the people that 1% of the US population controls 99% of the wealth?
Is it the will of the people that lobbyists lobby with mega dollars?

I could go on...
I vote always, I just don't see that it makes much difference. I vote against someone more often than for someone.
I played a large part in bringing down a local government.

If the choices are vote for Joe or vote for stockpile, stockpile wins everytime. :)

Lucky you.

For most... if they were as blessed as those with this stance, they wouldn't be crying about it.

Again, the few making a bad name for the many.

Do you have any idea how hard many of the people portrayed in this idealism work... for nothing... With no light at the end of the tunnel... and no opportunity to be where those whining about giving so little?

These programs are about as far and away from allowing someone simple comforts as one can get. There are no luxuries.

Consider this...
Wally World is the largest employer in the US. Yet something on the order of 90% of their employees are forced to receive supplementary gov't benefits because the wages are too low and the benefits packages aren't adjusted for it. Now consider the parents working there. How do they afford to house and feed their children on those wages?

They don't. They work their fingers to the bone in unappreciated positions on second and third jobs. Hopefully under the table so it doesn't retract their benefits so they don't lose the roofs over their children's heads.

And there no surf and turf dinner at the end of the week.

How insulting to constantly be lumped together with a bunch of greedy miscreants who are screwing the system because you were never given the break others have had handed to them... While working twice as hard as the privileged, judgemental finger pointers just to question every day if the nutrition lacking food you can afford will be enough in quantity to feed your family.

This attitude disgusts me. And I sometimes leave my family to go to for for 3 weeks to a month at a time...

Tapatyped

I totally agree

I tried a cigalike today...even with all the emails sent, calls to action answered... knowing is different than KNOWING... this all makes me so very sad... I am glad I started vaping. hopefully with all the nasty stuff out of my system I am strong enough to beat addiction to nicotine... cigalikes won't cut it.

I'm just trying to figure out how they'd even know if someone was over the "limit," without coming in (illegally) and doing an illegal search. I'm not going to sacrifice my life or liberty resisting an actual warrant, but they'd BETTER have a real warrant before I'm letting them into my house.

They haven't been able to storm-trooper their way in to discover my {other stuff}, so I doubt they'll be able to get in here and discover my nicotine either.

Civil Disobedience. When a law is just plain stupid, I mostly ignore it -- I don't flaunt my lawbreaking publically, but I've never bent the knee to stupid laws, and I'm not about to start now.

'im sure they are reading these posts.
they probably already have a list.

The tobacco revenues go primarily to the states, and the states are precluded from from printing money.

Doesn't really matter what I've already stockpiled, as they've got a lot greater problems on their hands than the nicotine in my freezer. And yes, I do have some. Plus, I'm stocking up on my favorite tanks, RDAs, etc.

1470 ml of 100 mg
1800 ml of 24 mg

I keep it stored in a mini-freezer turned up to max. Keep it as cold as possible. Before this all comes down, I plan on getting another couple liters of 100 mg. Since I'm 60, that will certainly last the rest of my life. Not only that, I will keep my close friends who are vapers well supplied. PG, it's 20 bucks a gallon at Tractor Supply. Glycerine, even wally world sells it. Flavors, it's good; I buy them right now with Paypal, and they hate vapers.

Yourinate on every one of 'em!

Got my first liter of VG based 7.2% nicotine solution, and another two liters of PG and VG. At my present nic levels and rate of consumption I reckon thats about eight years worth of nicotine. I could get more but giving it up is the goal. But it's better to have it an not need it, than to need it and not have it. On the plus side, I realized what ludicrously high prices I have been paying for my DIY juice by not buying in bulk. I hope that PG and VG are not going to be impossible to obtain because I don't have the room to any more of it.
I plan to get another hundred meters of mixed gauge kanthal, at least another dozen mods and mechs, and then I think I will be about as ready as I can be. It wouldn't surprise me if I get kit seized off me in the street, so I need plenty of backups.

I got my liquids from everythingliquid .co. uk if anyone in the UK is planning on doing the same.

Sonic you do not need to stockpile pg & VG those will be available whatever as they have many other uses besides vaping and also kanthal wire you will still be able to get that only nic base is an issue and you don't need to worry about your devices being seized either the tpd is not retrospective so anything purchased before is fine.

Words of wisdom right there!

I doubt it. They have too many other uses. I have a LOT more nic put away up than you do (and I'm still adding to it regularly), but I'm not stocking PG or VG. As you said, it takes up too much space.

I plan to get another hundred meters of mixed gauge kanthal, at least another dozen mods and mechs, and then I think I will be about as ready as I can be.
If your resources are limited, I'd focus on atties more than mods. If you're only worried about function as opposed to beauty, mods are pretty easy to make; the only specialised part in them is the 510 connector (and those are worth stocking, but they're cheap). Give me a hunk of wood (or a 3D printer) and a 510 connector and I'll make a vapable mod. Mods can also be sold as flashlights. Atties on the other hand require precision machining and it would be pretty hard to claim the "authorities" that they have some other purpose.
