Vapor cloud = better vaping?

One in the same they will do their thing no matter weather you hide it or not. Unfortunately we are going to have to stand our ground or vaping is going to be taken away. Pretending some cloud blowing guy is the fault will not help standing up to the ANTZs could.

As I continue to read this thread I feel the initial question has gotten lost.
What does clouds of vapor have to do with DIY'ers vs B&M stores?

Also, based on the original post, why would the amount of juice someone else uses or waste even be of any concern?

If I go through a 10ml bottle in a day that produced VERY LITTLE vapor vs a 10ml bottle that produced a LOT of vapor, the end result will be I'm down a 10ml bottle either way.

Rarely if ever do things stay on topic.

I think all this hating is more a result from people feeling inadequate or superior because of their setup. Bigger clouds = better setup = i'm better than you kinda thing. It's more a matter of whether the individual vaper is being an ayuss clown or not, otherwise why would you care?

I like RDA's with micro-coils. It is the most satisfying vape I have ever had. They blow away the carto and clearos and genny's I was using prior. A side effect of a good micro-coil on a RDA is pretty big clouds. I take a 2-3 second hit, and I get a very full, saturated vape. If you're satisfied with your ego setup that's fine, If your happy with your quad coil sub-ohm vape, that's fine too. I just don't see why we have to judge others based on what they prefer.

I figured my post would stir up some conversation. I never said to hide and sulk. You can stand up for your "rights" to vape anywhere but that will just hasten the bans. If you're sitting in a room by yourself or with vaping friends then blow all the clouds you want to but the general public is not as informed as you are and education is going to take a long time. Doing that will just create a lot of "ill will" for the rest of us.

I vape only in places that smoking is allowed. I also don't walk in to a pen full of pit bulls with a T-bone steak hanging around my neck either but that's just me.

No they are not one and the same. I in no way indicated anything about hiding it nor did I say anything about not standing up to antz. Rewrite my statement in your mind all you want.

Yea I was taking dramatic liberty's to make my point I know what you meant. I dont agree with you I am not a smoker any longer so I refuse to be lumped in with them. I do think courtesy and common since should be applied to vaping in public.

I run in to that all the time at work. People continually twist my twisted words to twist my twisted reference all to their benefit. On the one hand, it would help if I could simply implant my thoughts directly into peoples minds. On the other hand, several people would vaporize... without an atty or PV.

It also helps to just not be a douche bag when vaping in public. I sit with the smokers, and don't blow the vape around families and kids. Courtesy is becoming a lost habit in our culture, in general.

Interesting thread. Quick question - is it true what they say about using 100% VG? Does it produce more vapor than a VG/PG mix? I am getting into DIY juice mixing and I can get a great local deal on organic food-grade VG and I don't want to use any PG. I'm not a big fan of "throat hit", so ditching the PG should be easy for me. But, I've never vaped pure VG, so I don't know what to expect versus the pre-mixed juices I have tried (mostly Wicked-branded from the local B&M store).

So, 100% VG yields more/better vapor, or not?

I run either 50/50 or 65/35 Vg to Pg. This gives good vapor, and a little TH, without wicking issues. I have never tried straight Vg, so I don't know how that is. I do no that 65/35 Pg to Vg is too much Pg, for me. It makes my lips feel really odd, and starts getting too much for my throat.

I find nic level has more to do with Th than anything else. I have several juice ranging from 65pg/35vg to 100vg and the juices I have that are 6mg are perfect on TH, while the 12mg gets harsh after a bit. I prefer Higher VG juices at around 6mg, but to each his own.

I have noticed a very direct relation between VG% and effortless quantity and size of clouds. I recently visited an earlier higher% PG liq and my throat was unhappy and the clouds were dismal.

but less flavor and less throat hit,,,,,,,,

most people find a balance of some sort helps (50/50, 60/40, 70/30, etc)

good point!! nicotine is number 1 vapor is number 2 because it makes you think your smoking.. if all you want is nicotine then you could use the patch, gum, or nicotrol inhaler,, me I like vaping clouds

For folks that are all about huge clouds, it reminds me of people who bolt on muffler noisemakers, raise their pickups 5 feet off of the ground, or who do anything else that has a "look at me" component.

Vaping for me is about taste and nicotine delivery. If I can close my eyes, take a drag, enjoy the taste and the exhale, then I am "happily vaping".

Just like when I smoked cigars, yes it was nice and fun to blow smoke rings, or blow a huge cloud towards the ceiling (never into someone's face), but that was just a small and unimportant part of why I was smoking a cigar. I smoked cigars for the taste, to relax, to enjoy the moment of breathing in and out and feeling the effect of the nicotine on my system.

Not that there's anything "wrong" with folks who have loud cars, raised pickups, or any sort of "look at me" ego-boost... but vapor is just that, vapor. It's the end product of a good inhale, not the point of the exercise.

The larger the vapor cloud that surrounds everyone in the room the more ammunition you have given to the "anti smoker - anti vapers".

I'm glad this got everyone thinking about that exact point. I vape 80PG/20VG mix @18mg on my vvmod @2.2 ohm protank. I get the TH, the nic, and the smaller cloud. For right or for wrong if they can't see it they can't complain. Oh, btw, did I use enough abv to fall into the vape geek group?..LMAO..Thanks everyone
