Anyone have some tips for me? I'd hate to return the vaporflask and wait another 2 months if there's something I can do instead.

Opening the device may void the warranty and without knowing what the issue really is I wonder what is to be gained by opening it instead of just returning it for warranty and/or repair or refund? Do you have the parts and ability to repair it and the ability to diagnose the fault?

Got my Kangxin with usb charging from focal today, so far I am very pleased with it, don't have anything to test the TC on it, but didn't get it for that anyway.

Have any of you noticed a difference in flavor with your dna40?

    No, no difference in flavor.
Same tank, same build, same juice, same settings= same resistance=same flavor
only thing I have noticed is the DNA40 does pre heats faster, but thats not an issue for me, because I always hit the fire button while it is in route not after it get there.

I just got my kangaxin vaporflask dna40 v3 with the usb port. It worked great the first hour with my new nickel build. Then all of the sudden it stopped working. Tried everything with the battery and made sure it had a good connection and even had it plugged in from the usb and nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions? The screen doesn't come on and i'm not sure if you guys have any tips?

Sounds like your unit went "belly up" so to speak. I'm am with you in the frustration.

Contact Focalecig ASAP! Talk to either Doris or Eleven (some say Eleven is not as good as Doris, but he/she?? gave me fast responses with the correct answers.)
Keep a record of ALL correspondence with them just to CYA. Maybe they'll ship one to you at the same time you're shipping the defective one back.

I ordered on March 10th and got mine in 14 days total.

Mine has been working flawlessly so far except for an issue with the adjustable 510 center screw being quite loose.
So I took two O-rings used for the Taifun GT 510 center screw connection and piggy-backed them on the brass screw.
It's quite a bit stiffer now and stays put most of the time. It came loose completely a couple of times when removing the atomizer to refill.
It's not that big and can be easily lost in a carpet.

I sent eleven an email and Doris a Skype message with a video of the the vapor flask not working. Waiting for a response.

I did my very first nickel build on my Kangxin unit, and all the temperature functionality appears to be good. However, my build was not. I can see that I have a lot to learn, building with nickel is a bit of a mare. I have some nickel OCC heads in the mail, so hopefully they will be better until I get my technique sorted.

Please let us know what that response is. I managed to freeze my Waidea Times Flask Shipment I ordered from them before it shipped. Focal certainly has the better price, but now I'm thinking it is worth paying more with 3FVape since their response & customer Service is so off the charts outstanding.

I just have my doubts how much longer they can keep it up.

8-32 or 10-32 machine screw works wonders! just wrap it right in the threads, set your coil & unscrew it!

Just realized London, M2.5-M3 Fine thread in your case I guess. Sorry I'm on other side of pond.

That won't unfortunately work on atties that require a right hand wrapped coil like the erlkonigin. I've been trying to get my hands on some left hand screws in the M3 range but they are difficult to come by :(

Turnbuckles work well. They have both right and left handed threads in them. You can just throw out the center section.
Turnbuckles are those threaded devices used to pull two wires tight. Often used to square up sagging screen doors. I'm sure you have them in Portugal.

Rarely found in fine threaded condition though. Guess it doesn't matter after you squeeze them together so I can accept it could work.
