Samsung 25R's do not fit from my experience. I have a total of 6 of them and none fit my flask.

That sucks..I have a brand new set waiting for the second round of VF DNA40's to get released. Want to avoid any dna issues. Im horrible at waiting for repairs!

This guy seems to have very little issues with them

Someone mentioned taking sandpaper to the Efest so I did and it works like a charm. You don't need to take very much off a couple of thousands works fine and for the 24Rs maybe not even that much. Then just take a black magic marker and re-label them.

Unfortunately, I continue to have issues with the fire button sticking on my 'flask. I'm hoping the lack of response last week was simply due to the holiday, although I sent them the message on Monday.

Oddly, the issues with locking or unlocking disappear if I remove the atty first. It doesn't appear to be atty specific, maybe the 510?

I think this issue has been mentioned before too but my VF is definitely not working right. I've tried numerous builds and its always the same issue. A new coil seems to work fine with temp control doing what it's suppose to do but as soon as I leave the mod alone and come back to it, the resistance changes and the temp shoots up right away. This drops the wattage down to 3 to 7 watts (I have 13.5 watts set). I've tried 30 gauge and 28 gauge, contact and no contact coils. They all seem to do the same thing. When I remove the RBA and put it back on and click the option for a new coil, it starts to work fine again until I put the device down for a few minutes.

I'm pretty frustrated with this, anyone know if there is a solution for this? Thanks in advance or your help, much appreciated.

doghouse, I have both of those tanks and I can tell you from experience it's the build. Check the screws, torque them back down. NI200 is soft and the cooling and heating impacts the wire.

Thanks. I'll try it on my Kayfun as well just to make sure. I could see the Rose being an issue potentially because of the way the wires are trapped. The Kayfun has has nuts I can trap under so I'll give that a go.

Guys -

hoping to get some input on an odd issue I'm experiencing with my 'Flask:

Over the last couple of weeks, I've seen sporadic issues with my fire button. For example, if I do 5 fast clicks to lock the mod, sometimes it acts as if the fire button is 'stuck' and will continue to fire. If I press the button again, it will typically (but not always) stop. If I remove my atty, however, the 5 clicks register correctly and the mod locks and unlocks normally. I'm still testing, but I noticed today after putting in fresh batteries, I'm able to lock and unlock the mod normally.

Here's the question: some of the batteries I've been using have been older (6+ months of use) VTC5's. Testing the batteries with a meter didn't show an issue with the batteries, but I'm wondering if there may be a connection? The newer VTC3's (received at the same time as the 'Flask two weeks ago) don't appear to exhibit the same issue.

I've contacted VaporFlask and they're setting up an RMA - if the issue is with the batteries, though....

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I've tried both a Rose v2 and Squape Reloaded, same issue.

I use the rose v2 more than any other atty on my flask. I'd check that your wires are trapped in the grub screws, and that they're tight enough. I've been erring towards leaving the wires too long rather than too short. Are you using twisted, or straight Ni200?

Well I got my new flask in today. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet though as I have to go cook dinner for my in-laws.

Now one thing I did notice on my flask was that the up/down buttons are indeed uneven. One sticks out further than the other. I remember reading earlier in the thread that a number of you had the same issue. Not sure how much my OCD is going to kick in and have it bother me: we'll see. If the chip is good then I'll probably just keep it. But have any of you returned your flasks because of this? Or have you just learned to live with it?

Can't wait to get home and start playing with it though, it looks like a very nice mod! :)

Mine came in today as well. Haven't turned it on yet as the new batteries are still charging.
Bottom button sticks out further on mine too and the flimsy feeling USB port is already concerning me.
...and now looking at the bottom there's a nice big scratch right thru the logo. The 3 of the 4 top hex bolts are rounded out like someone cranked down too hard.

Yeah, same concerns here as well....I just joined the VF group on Facebook, so maybe I'll try to see if I can get us some clarification as to whether this stuff is ok (ie: normal).

I remember reading that the usb port is supposed to have a bit of play in it, but there seems to be some conjecture as to whether the buttons are supposed to be uneven...I'll be sure to report back if/when I find out more...
