Bruce at Clouds of Vapor has a PG free line of juices...he himself is allergic to PG. You could contact him and talk to him about his juices.

And yes, there are flavor suppliers out there who sell VG based flavoring without oil in them for DIY and to vendors who make their own juices to sell.

yes I did speak to Bruce as per your suggestion..thanks kindly
in fact all his products are PG FREE

Sorry to hear of your experience. I have just completed my second order with them. My first order was just a couple of selected sample flavors. I found that I do like their hypnotic mist though. I have just completed my second order, and you can guess what flavor it is......yup, hypnotic mist. BTW--It is listed 100% VG.

Anne

Im glad you enjoy it..however listed as 100%VG its PG flavored

I am not confused at all about this, and the "hindsight" comment has nothing to do with this, you knew about this all before contacting any vendor, you asked questions, were told that there were varying degrees of what you didn't want, yet you place the order and badmouth them

I knew there was pg and vg..your correct
I never knew 100% vg ejuice contained pg
I guess youll be confused ,going back to hugging my tree now

And you're mixing your own liquid now? thought it was 'PG" you had issues with? guess this is where you're a little confused.I say I'm done, go back to hugging your tree

I knew there was pg and vg..your correct
I never knew 100% vg ejuice contained pg
and if you go back and reread,,I made the order before I asked them..that was the hindsight
back to hugging my tree now

Unfortunately when it comes to any company that goes by a select recipe (not just ejuice), they start really fidgetting when it comes to allergies. I had to deal with the company that makes Joy Dishwashing Liquid. My wife is highly allergic to anything that has sulfur in it. All I asked them is confirm that there is or not sulfur in their product. Simple yes or no question. After about 20 minutes of basically talking and getting more and more angry, I was told that a doctor's note (stating she had that particular allergy) would have to be faxed/mailed to them before they would say yes or no.

It's not like I was asking for the recipe or anything. After that, we never buy that brand anymore.

It is appalling to me that a supplier would say a flavor is all VG when it was made with a flavoring that contains PG. It is equaling astonishing to me that there are consumes that think this practice is in any way acceptable.

Vagablonde - if you want to try DIY perfumers apprentice does make a few flavorings that do not contain PG and Nature's Flavors Nature's Flavors : Organic Flavoring Systems for Coffee & Tea has a line of over 160 very strong coffee and tea flavorings that are suitable for e-juice mixing that contain only organic flavors, vegetable glycerin, and organic ethyl alcohol. They are kosher, vegan, and contain no allergens. The only problem with them is the smallest size of a flavor they sale is an oz for $12.50

Vaga- As far as the allergy issue. I have not heard a single other poster mention they had an allergic reaction as severe as you said yours was, "I ended up in hospital with some severe reactions to pg where my throat started closing up." Now, granted I have not read every single post on this forum, but most of the reactions I have read about have been pretty mild, such as a persistent sore throat and such.

If your throat was "closing" up this indicates you were having a reaction known as anaphylaxis, which is life threatening. My point earlier about choosing to vape regardless of this reaction being unwise still stands. Only thing I can think of is there is a language barrier here and you described your reaction poorly. Being a completely unregulated business, you have no safe guards in place other than the word of many who do not share your exact allergy and a vendor whom you do not know.

I am not criticizing you, just unsure of why you would take such a risk.

As far as your experience with VB, Sounds like a lot of misunderstandings, possibly, again, a language barrier. Not that you do not speak fluent English, but by reading your posts, there is a definite difference in the nuance of the way you speak vs a native English speaker. Your location is listed as CA, via Norway.

whats even more surprise to me is that Im simply stating that any of this could be prevented.People should have a choice of what risk they will take concerning anything, however when allergies are involved, you dont have the same choices..you simply must know..'m not trying to bash anyone or injure myself in the process..I too like many here want to be ciggie free..I suppose this is why I would risk it..at the same time I am known to be allergic to Pg..But the real issue is..if ejuice flavorings contain PG its sure not 100% VG and should not be marketed as such.
ah natures flavors I have been to this site and asked someone if this was something one could use in ejuice..I was never able to get a reply..so I am glad you mentioned it,Have you yourself tried it?

hi kris
yes I'm well aware about the anaphylactic that was why they gave me the injection.
I never even had allergies until this year so even I don't know what exactly will hate me.
I cannot say how anyone may react to something only my own experiance
Im rather annoyed,I really liked some juices.
I know my body doesn't tolerate Pg which is why I wanted Vg
if it was clear the juice was flavored with Pg I could have easily avoided that.

as I posted above,I realize there's risk with e-cigs.
a more personal side of it,I just lost my father to emphazema.
my fear might of been bigger then what I thought the risk.
smoking wasn't without risk either
and no I'm not a mother tongue english speaker..laughs..its obvious huh
So no It's not always easy to say clearly what I want.

However my issue still remains.
There needs to be disclosure of products in some way that we as a whole can make a choice for whatever reason that choice is for us.be it any product.with or without allergies.risk or no risk.
I think e-cigs are a wonderful thing and i'm delighted to see they are working for so many people.
I want to be one of those people too.

No - I just found out about them a few days ago when I was asking if anyone knew where I could find grenadine flavor (see this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/132391-grenadine-anyone.html). Nikhil, who is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable DIY people on the forum and who now sales e-juice as Pure Vapes - told me about them and I searched the DIY threads for more info. What little I found was positive for their Coffee and Tea flavorings, but the fact that they are twice as expensive as places like Perfumers Apprentice and LorAnn and that the smallest amount you can buy is an ounce which would probably flavor at least 200 ml of e-juice - and would be such a waste if it turns out to be a flavor you dislike - makes it an unpopular choice. Nikhal did mentioned that Vaperite uses them in their organic vg line.

As I stated before, the information was not being withheld from you. We tried to contact you, after the first e mail but you gave us a bogus phone number, and have yet to provide a good number. E mail is considered legal print, until I, not my CS reps, can be assured of who I'm talking to and to what degree the information is being sot the answers will remain vague. VB is not trying to withhold anything from you. I feel that if you need this information as badly as stated, a phone number would be forthcoming. Vaga I am truly sorry this as happened this way an will be refunding your entire purchase. You have to see our side of this. You send an email say you where hospitalized, I try to call you, the people that answers tell me they don't know you. Where did that Phone number come from? Add to that you have your ordered delivered to a P.O. Bx. How about this , You won't give me a Phone number to call you, so our number is 234-525-0622 it's on the front page of our website. I will be in Monday at 10am. I want everyone here to know that there have been numerous attempts to get you to give me a contact number, to the point that I have asked in this thread and other threads and still nothing. And there is still the issue of why you gave a bogus number to begin with.

as I mentioned before I have no idea where it is you are trying to contact me.
as I have never received anything from you aside from my original emails and these posts.
not in my inbox here or my email account that you have on file.
You have all my information ,if you feel to send a refund.that's up to you.I never asked for that.
I'd be honestly shocked if you did, considering all I don't think i will contact you on phone.
so we will see,..for me its done.

nikhil is definitely worth finding and very honest as to his explanations.
i too have a pg allergy which includes pg-containing flavorings. and those symptoms are NOT mild. you might want to try ecopure as this is the only ejuice i have found so far that i can safely vape.
good luck

Most vendors who are selling VG juice will still have some pg in the juice. The flavorings and nic often have pg in them. The only vedor I know of who is using 100% VG and PG FREE is JC. There flavorings and Nicotine solutions are made with VG.

may I sk who JC is or what site please
