Turns out it was delivered by snails... the species seen in the never ending story!

Right off the bat, I can't believe how it doesn't smack TC like I'm used to with a dna chip, especially considering how warm it may feel like its getting after chain vaping. Not too sure about Joules VS Watts, but they seem slightly similar adjustment wise.

Normally, with a DNA40, I vape a 1.3Ω Ni200 coil @ 17W which feels similar to a 19.0J setting which seems to max out around 250ºF! Very consistent.

It did come with a pair of Brillipower 40A 3100mAh batteries which they included free of charge to make up for the delay in shipping.

The only thing that's a bit weird in my opinion are the battery caps which don't seem as buttery smooth as I would've expected, they're sharp around the edges and the inside of where they drilled the vent holes have particularly sharp bits which I'll be taking some some wet/dry sand paper to for sure.

Here's a final pic unless I get any requests:

Using 100%VG I did get the "Dry Coil, No Liquid" to pop up on the screen, especially when the atty started to feel quite warm from chain vaping. While I know with 100% certainty that the coil is anything but dry.

I guess a lot of this, for me, is simply getting used to the YiHi chip.

So anyway, just wanted to provide ya'll with some Flask SX porn ASAP as I would've hoped whoever else got there's before any pics had been posted of it would've done the same.

Cheers,
NickJ

1.3? Ni200?? or 0.13!

edit: just for interest here is a test of those batts!

I'm curious, what is the maximum Joules the device will go to for ni200? Did it ship with support for ni200, and Ti Gr1?
Max Joules = 75
Max Watt = 100

& yes, I definitely do need to check the M class thread, because the "DRY COIL NO LIQUID" screen is really really killing me right now. Doesn't matter if I drip directly onto the coil, it'll pop right up. Pretty much to the point where I can't even get a vape for a second off it.

At least that thread seems like it'll be a quick read with over 400 pages. ....

Yes, my bad, I meant 0.13Ω. (8 wraps 0.30mm (28/29AWG) Ni200 around 3mm bit in Squape W-deck)

Yeah, and most of that thread is non-sense.

I'm curious if the flask is any taller now that it has the top and bottom plates?
They're all the exact same size.
Silver 2.1, VS & SX
(The weight of the SX reminds me a lot more of the VS version than the all SS 2.1)
-I also didn't realize until I posted these pics just how much the top plates could use a cleaning.

Another thing is that the USB plug in the 2.1 was wobbly & sort of crap. VS' is secure with the enhanced "zip charging" capability I never used. The SX is also firm like the VS edition which is nice since it will be the first one that I will actually need to use for upgrading firmware.

So far I've only used it with tempered Ni200 but I did place my first ever order for Ti grade 1 today. That'll be interesting. Plugging in different numbers in steam-engine, it looks like I'll be using a lot fewer coils with the stuff.

How charge? Usb

Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk
I never use the USB. I only ever swap out the batteries. I use it too much to have the patients to charge it via USB. The VS one might charge faster but I wouldn't know because I never used it. I have a bunch of pairs of 18650s (mostly VTC5's) and a charger or two so I always have plenty of batteries ready to go. But thats the beauty of the flask is that a pair of charged batteries are good for a day.
