I'd love an SX350J VF, but those pictures caused me some concern.

Note: No mention of 'Made in the USA' on the bottom, in fact the bottom looks more like a VS Flask with just the patent statement. Are we 100% sure these are going to be made in the US?

2nd: The up/down buttons replaced by what looks like a plastic toggle switch. I'll reserve judgement until I see some reviews, but I don't like the new look.

What's this talk about a new finish? I love the finish on my VF, can't imagine how it could be improved.

I also adore the coin slot brass battery caps, and much prefer them over the VS Flasks (caps with moving parts - moving parts to break).

I'll probably buy one, but may just get another VF DNA40 if I can't get on with the design changes.

Are VF planning to discontinue the VF DNA40?

1. Definitely made in the US, at the same place that the original was milled, this direct from the owner of VF when he was a guest on Plumes of Hazard.

2. New rocker is supposed to be more durable and easier to use than the original stacked buttons, particularly when doing a dual button press to lock or set resistance, etc. Do keep in mind that Yihi buttons are "in line" with the board, Evolv likes to "stack" buttons, so unless they wanted to try and cram a daughter board in there along with the larger Yihi board, they had to change the button orientation. And there's nothing wrong with plastic buttons.

3. New finish because the brushed anodized was slippery and nick prone. Original brushed finish will still be an option, I believe, along with several other finishes and even graphics (not wrapped).

4. New bottom 10% of the body is stainless to mitigate drops, the old all-aluminium body could deform so badly when dropped on a hard surface you couldn't remove the batteries. I think it looks pretty slick too.

5. Battery caps are still the slot design.

6. Vaporshark now has the design license for the DNA40 Vaporflask, and there's still probably some old stock of the VF Made in USA 2.1 flasks out there somewhere.

Not bad. Under $300. Ordered mine a wee bit ago & figured I'd spread the news. Had to log into the vapor flask website. They sent me an email today which granted me access to their online store. Cool that they've set up their own website to sell it directly through them cutting out the middle man and thus extra tax.

Yup.
What's the customer rewards/loyalty program?
I own two and haven't vaped any other device in the last 10 months, but I'm not, that I'm aware of, in any such group. What I did do was enter my email on vaperflask.com when I saw the site was updated a few weeks ago & got notified yesterday that it was updated.

LOL, they're not beta units. Anyone who signed up on their web site home page in the last few weeks got the same email yesterday and was able to order one.
I signed up as well a few weeks ago, and did not receive an email. Good to hear they're not beta units.

What's the customer rewards/loyalty program?
Something Vapor Flask originally promised to the early adopters of the v1 flask. The first 200 customers were supposed to receive advanced notice of future releases, and be able to purchase 48-72 hours prior to the official release date.

If they are sending emails out in batches to test out the new store, I have no issues with that. Some form of communication from VF would be great.

I signed up on their website and was contacted by them the same day. I was able to order one. I went to their FB page and was the one that posted about 2 weeks. I initially had an error with the passwords which prompted me to call them to reset it so I could complete my order. I asked the rep about when the distribution would be and he said in about 2 weeks as they were still getting all the orders together.

Beta units might be shipping out? If not, I hope the folks getting these emails were part of the customer rewards/loyalty group (first 200 buyers of the original flask).

If not, VF will have fallen into the category of companies I refuse to do business with.

That was me. I wanted to get the news out. I wasn't a full member of this forum yet so I couldn't post here until just few moments ago. I can say this...I don't think that I am a part of their loyalty program, but do own a VF dna40. Believe me I was just as surprised when I got the email prompting me to log into their website. Just checked and its not out of stock yet.

Maybe check your spam folder?
Thanks for the suggestion, first place I looked. :)

Blacked out the name since it was a screenshot, didn't want people spamming you.

I'd just put your email into the box on the home page again, can't hurt.
Will do. Hopefully they're just sending em out in waves. I'd like to support VF directly.

Still waiting on my email as well.
@DragonGunner @nj1001 Did you receive a confirmation email when you signed up on the site initially?
No I did not get any confirmation at all. I just added my email and that was it. If memory serves me correctly I got their email the next day with a password to get into the site. It happened very quickly and unexpectedly to be honest.
