Received my vaporshark today!! Love this little thing so far... only complaints really are : couple of imperfections in the paint job (seems to be widespread) & my screen is nice & straight, but in the lower right hand corner it looks like I can see a piece of adhesive maybe?? No biggie - even tho I am generally a sufferer of ocd - lol...

Question did you reach out to VS about your button? and if so what options where you given.

No, because I've seen the internals and the way the buttons are designed. I don't think there's anything they're going to be able to do about it. The button just tends to wobble enough to get stuck once in a while. I don't want to wait for a return to them, followed by presumably waiting for stock to come back in, and then waiting another however-many days for it to get back to me. I'll see how it goes, but I doubt I'll be sending it back.

Heard back from vs they think my charging indicator light staying lit is due to damage or defect. I'm waiting on a prepaid envelope from vs so I can ship mine back.

Damn, that sucks. You waited a long time and now it has to go back...sorry to hear that.

I get home this evening the VS order that I placed and posted about came in. What I found interesting is the label was print by VS and was priority-2day. Small envelope $12 work of syringes. But took 5 days to reach me? Again for 3 days it was information received on the 4 day it was in Brooklyn, NY (not a hub) and then arrived in the morning to my local post office and delivered at 11am. How does one understand this? It was paid to be priority-2day ... What am I missing, I can't get my head around this. It too originated from miami.

Seems like VS, at least for the DNAs, has a habit of "completing" your order and printing a label and letting it sit there for a day or 2 until it actually gets picked up or taken to the post office. (Mine "shipped" on 3/17... but didn't actually leave Miami until 3/19 to arrive on 3/22.)

I used to work for a small publisher. We published a trade paperback sized journal quarterly that had about 1000 subscribers. This meant that we had to package up and ship out 1000 packages four times a year. And this was in 1999 prior to things like stamps.com or UPS having a good online setup.

The post office hated us. It got so bad that we had to drive the packages to a post office three towns over that was the local sort facility because of the issues we had with the local post office.

I'd imagine that the post office near VS feels basically the same way.

Yea I saw that too.... I live in a neighborhood where all the mail gets delivered to one central set of lock boxes, so I'm hoping I don't have to wait around for the mailman and he'll just put it in my box like everything else

Worse comes to worse, you'll have to go to the post office to pick it up. They will leave a paper in your box and you'll have to show that paper to the people at the counter.

Finally found a thread for the Vaporshark (Search function failed me)... I have a VS DNA20 that crapped out on me, button was misfiring and 510 connection was horrific, wouldn't read certain atomizers, wrong ohm readings, so i sent it back. Finally getting it back on Friday(They couldn't find it when I sent it to them, and when they did find it they sent it to the wrong person after it was repaired ) ... That was a month ago but thats another story. What I am getting back is a reconditioned dna 20 with an upgraded 510 spring loaded pin. What is everyones opinion on it? Never had a device with a spring loaded 510. Any pictures floating around?

That is correct mad. I will be receiving the new 510 connection on my DNA 20. I was hoping they would be all out of VS 20's and send me a 30 since mine was sent to someone else, wishful thinking

Mine came in today guys...extremely impressed with the performance! 30 watts is INSANE! My 1.4 coil fires like a .4 mech!

The paint job isn't the best, there are some small imperfections. I love the 510 connection and the overall heft of it though. Feels extremely solid.

Hope you all get yours soon, it IS worth the wait.
