Built the Origen in the last hour (or so). Feeling very smart!!

15 wraps of NI200 on a 3mm screwdriver, just to get a sense of whether I might be able to dual coil, easily, or not. Put the first build on my Ohm Reader showing .21 ohms. Dats workable as a single coil and potentially a dual , I thought.

Yet, this first attempt was a bust 'cause I found it too difficult to get a tweezers into the well to pull the KGD through. (I know about the "fishing" trick, but remember we are dealing with the very malleable NI 200.) Idea!, why don't you try placing the KGD into the coil before turning it to attach to the negative post. "Okay, I'll give it a try". Lights, camera...ACTION!

The coil goes down with almost no difficulty. Checked to be sure there is no wire touching the deck or posts and the legs are as short as possible. All's good.

Double-check the resistance...juice it...put it on the VS dna 40...vape it. Impressive!!!

I just want the one I already paid for. At the fast rate VS is reducing prices they're making money hand over fist while we're still waiting for them to receive their shipment so they can ship to us. The wait makes me feel like I'm buying from Fasttech.

So I received my dna40 and russian combo today. Haven't tried building yet because I quickly encountered an issue with the russian. When I was taking out the post screws to get things ready for cleaning, the first twist moved the positive deck. I tried tightening the 510 post but that didn't seem to help. Not to mention the 510 pin seems very recessed and I'm worried about it making a good connection. Are there any fixes for this. Right now I'm regretting buying the russian....really hope I can fix this.

This is a well known issue with the R91 V2.

Unscrew the 510 screw. Under it is the post that holds the positive block in place. Mine was loose too.

I just did a simple build using organic cotton and what I believe is the 32 gauge wire that came with it. First build ever actually.

So far, working well!

Yeah I read a thread about that but when I take the 510 pin out there is nothing. The 510 pin screws directly into the deck.

I'm an idiot. I just realized that the 510 pin comes out of the post itself. Will try screwing back in and tightening.

So I'm running into the same issue as others were having with tightening the center post....the insulator is soft and its tilting the positive deck the more I tighten it. Seems to be Fat Daddy kayfun/russian 510 overhaul kit is the fix. Just sucks having this problem out of the box.

I just saw the email from Vaporshark for this pricing, very nice! I don't see an expiration on this deal so I think that this is perhaps the new standard pricing...and to think I could have saved $20 on my DNA30 by waiting a few short weeks. The pricing on the rDNA 30 is very close to the price on Cyber Monday.

What you need to do is hold the positive block with a channel lock or pliers while screwing in the (actual) positive pin...

I was originally thinking that but everything I received was separate. I mean it was in the same usps shipping box but the atty, juice, wire, and rdna were all separately packaged.

I don't think so. The Russian, eDNA 40 and the sharkskin were all packed into a padded envelope separately. With the free 30ml liquid as well. It wasn't like it was specially boxed.
