I know and trust me i understand!
We've all been at that chomping at the bit stage over something.
I ordered a tablet on black friday and paid 37$ for expedited shipping, i was supposed to have it wed.
The thing is still in california and i live in Louisiana.

This is what really irks me. If I pay for expedited shipping, you better jump on that.

Quick thoughts on the device? Wicking pretty easy? I haven't followed this tank much since I've kinda sworn off kayfun-sized tanks for drippers lately.
Except for a SquapeR clone. That's pretty awesome, except I need to replace an o-ring somewhere and I've been too lazy.
I was kinda expecting to marry that to my VS when it gets here, eventually.....

Looking for a extremely good RTA? Want one that's teeeeny tiny but has great capacity?

AHEM. The Erlkonigin nano clone just appeared on fasttech.

I just want the one I already paid for. At the fast rate VS is reducing prices they're making money hand over fist while we're still waiting for them to receive their shipment so they can ship to us. The wait makes me feel like I'm buying from Fasttech.
I think what we are seeing is a combination of things. Demand far exceeding their production capabilities is affecting their delivery. Add in that ALL shipping carriers are slow this time of year due to increased volume (USPS priority mail, which normally advertises 2 day service, is now claiming 3 day service). Add in to that demand, them having to deplete stock to replace units that had a bad DNA40 board. Couple that with VaporShark being a fairly small company--Some WalMarts in some areas of America had sales that exceeded what VaporShark have done since the day they opened their doors.

Secondly, I wouldn't say they are making money "hand over fist" here. The costs for just the molds alone to make the cases are most likely in the tens of thousands of dollars. Add I. The outlay for the dna boards and other components, shipping the boards to China to manufacture, overall development costs, the general overhead of being a business, paying for shipping, bringing on temporary employees to manage the unplanned surge in business all add up. Again, coup,e it with dealing with the bad DNA boards that were out there (I'm sure Evolv took care of them, but there still was a huge financial impact on VaporShark). But nobody wants to hear it on the Internet, where everybody wants to be a victim, and the entitlement mentality has villainized any company that makes a profit. Face it, a business is only a business if they are out to make a profit- otherwise they are called a charity. Profits are the incentive to keep operating..it's how they pay their bills...or should I say, their bills and taxes (so those who feel "entitled" can get a free ride).

Believe me, I understand wanting to have the instant gratification of not having to wait. I also understand that no one wants to feel like they are being "ripped off". And I'm sure what we read on here is tame compared to what the hard working folks who work customer service (people who are only trying to put food on their table, a roof over their heads, and be a productive member of society) deal with on a daily basis. But at the end of the day, seeing people bellyache that these companies are not offering soup kitchen prices, or the quick turnaround of a Popeye's drive-thru, simply amazes me. And people wonder why these companies start farming out customer service to off-shore sources....They can't afford to pay people here what they deserve to put up with the abuse from the customers.

Lol duuuuude. Go google images of squape R on a rDNA. It looks ridiculous! Hahahah

Then look at a picture of a erlk in nano and it's MINDBLOWING. It's pretty much the size of a rda.

Wicking is definitely a little more of a learnig curve compared to a kayfun from what I see. I haven't had any difficulty from my first build, but folks seem to have issues with it.

That said, everyone who's gotten it down loves it. It has better airflow than a kayfun, is EXTREMELY light, has never leaked on me, and is dead easy to refill. I really enjoy the atty. The only thing I would wish for is better airflow but oh well.

Well said. Too bad it will most likely fall on deaf ears.

The Erlkonigin is just about the perfect tank for me. I wouldn't mind a bit more airflow, but with the high air flow center pole, and AFC ring removed, it's prety open...no worse than a magma in single coil mode/largest airflow hole. But never a dry hit, no leaks (except when I do something stupid)... Very nice atty

Heh, yeah I figured the SquapeR would look a bit naff on a VS. I keep forgetting how tiny they are.
And I keep forgetting how fooking massive the SquapeR is, since it's been hiding in an empty pill bottle until
I decide to fight with it some more.

Am I the only one who cracks every plastic tank he has ever owned? I know you can often get a stainless steel "window," but then I can't see how much juice is left.

I've pretty much given up on RTAs in favor of RDTAs. Better flavor than RTAs and more convenient than RDAs.
Lmao! I cracked all but one plastic taifun tank.
All my kayfun tanks cracked.
My erlk tanks are fine so far....,but ive broken 5 of the glass ibtanked erlk tanks. Lol

You, sir, are the master tank cracker. I've never cracked a glass tank, but my juice certainly does not get along with plastic.

So after all my issues last night with the Russian, I went at it again this morning. Broke everything down and cleaned it thoroughly. Used some pliers to hold the positive deck while really tightening the 510 post. Insulator is definitely compressed some but it is not ruined. I do plan on ordering a fat daddy kit in the future though.

Decided to test a build of kanthal before diving into the nickel. Wrapped a .9 ohm coil with 28 gauge. The positive block still spins when tightening the post screws though. Used the pliers to hold it in place while really tightening the post screws and this worked....just kind of a pita. Hopefully the fat daddy kit fixes this issue. Anyways got the build and was having strange readings on my ohm meter and mvp but not the vs. This told me that the 510 screw itself was having connection issues. Decided to back the 510 screw out and put two of the extra rubber o-rings on it that came with the russian. This worked perfectly. The 510 head is solid and now makes connections with everything. Outside of the positive deck/510 issues, this russian is great. I removed the AFC screw completely and the draw is excellent. Really enjoying the performance of the tank so far.

Anyways I will be experimenting with nickel builds this afternoon. Loving this device so far. The pictures really don't do the size of the rdna justice. This thing is tiny.

Realize of course the Kayfuns and other tanks use the same threaded positive terminal block attachment and do it no better then the Russian. The Russian had a unique issue when the v2 came out with a spring loaded 510 pin, they realized the folly of that and changed it to what you have now. Glad you got yours working! :)
