Same here! My authentic magma should arrive this week, along with a VA Cyclone. I haven't been this excited about drippers in a while.

I called for a actual availability status, guy said they are filling the original orders, and worst case .. they have another ship of dna 30 boards coming by 8/7, so mine would ship around that time. thats only 2 weeks, I can certainly wait, that small amount of time.. decided to grab a Russian 91% to go with it, will probably add atty's later. but for starters, Ill have the Russian ( in black ) the tobh ( Infinite clone ) and the Nautilus

VS rDNA Received! w00t! Build is fantastic, etc. Havent built the R91 I also bought yet, had stuff to do tonight, so i just threw my Nautilus tank on. Heck, the VS makes even the Nautilus better.. better flavour, better vape, etc. Amazing what solid steady power does, compared to the crappy Atmos Pro-Vape mod I was using.
Question: I bought some Purple eFest IMR 18650 3.7 Li-Mn 2500 mAh 's locally. Any reason why I couldn't swap one of those in? the VS came with a VTC4 18650..

yea.. exactly! I really blew the wad this month on this stuff.. after going through the threads about squoking.. makes so much sense REOnauts love their REO's. So, I checked the Classifieds thia am, and found a fresh post, grabbed it. SL /LP REO, with the BF Atomic included from Deacon. Quick question, just got my rDNA 30 today and I swapped the battery to a VTC5. It's a brand new VTC5 and freshly charged and once in a while when I fire it out of hibernation mode - I get the message 'Check Battery' or 'Weak Battery'. 1 out of maybe 10 times I fire while the screen is off and it turns on that message comes up. Any solutions? Should I try to do a full charge on the USB and see what happens?

Following along, as I'm thinking about possibly picking up a VS rDNA.
The 'check battery' and 'weak battery' is a quirk of the DNA board I'm told.
Does the same on both of my regular VSharks from brand new about 10% of the time when they wake up.
If it says it consistently then there may be an actual battery issue.
Not sure on the battery swap guys.
As long as the amperage rating of the other battery is high enough it should be OK.

I charged mine as well, charged quickly, as it was nearly full anyway. so, I dont believe its a real problem.

Thanks Clark F, ya, the REO SL / LP arrives Friday, looking forward to that too! I will say again though, so far, really seeing the difference, even on my nautilus, what a top notch MOD does for vaping. huge difference! and I love the compact size of the VS!
If it says check batt, it's checking the batt, which is what it does every time it turns on (part of the built in safety) wether or not it says it. If it says weak batt all the time, it may be sensing excessive batt sag but as others said it is a quirk that comes if from time to time with them.

so.. almost half a day in now with my VS ( still using the Nautilus, didnt have time to build the R91 last night, will tonight ) just gotta say.. LOVE IT!!!

I've considered getting a rDNA also and have been visiting with Vapor Shark. They are very good about answering my questions. What differences have you noticed as I'm still am a bit on the fence?
well.. I cant speak to the differences between the VS rDNA and any other DNA 30 box.. this is my first one. But the Size is perfect for me.. small! The rDNA is a lil bigger than the original VS DNA, and yet.. small. I like that. and of course the "r" factor.. the ability to not only charge the device, but carry extra charged batteries, if out and about and un able to chagre the internal. so thats the bonus with this vs the original VS.
the differences between this and the Atmos Rx Power-vape 18650 vv mod I originally had are big. I believe the power-vape must use PWM, where the VS is steady power. meaning it heats faster and maintains better heat I guess.. the power-vape could be dialed to a certain watt, but i don't trust it actually did it..because there wasn't much difference. with the VS, I can taste the actual difference as I try various volts, etc. its suggested 8 watts is ideal by charts etc.. but with the VS, I can try 9 watts ( 4.2 v / 2.0 ohm coil ) and the flavors are better, the vape is better, etc.
I was frustrated with the nautilus after a few days, taste wasn't great, limited amount of vapor, etc couldnt chain vape it... with the VS, I can chain it ( until it eventually gets the tank warm.. then I chill a bit ), the taste is better, and I get a lot more vapor.
