When I bought mine my mouse hovered over the buy button for a solid 5 min. Now that I have it tho, definitely worth it. "No ragrets"
Their web site doesn't say what the case for the rDNA is made of (at least I didn't see it) but the VS DNA30 is made of Cast Zinc-Aluminum Alloy according to their web site. You could check with Vapor Shark (they designed it) or S-body (chinese company that makes them for Vapor Shark). My guess is that the rDNA is made of the same material as the VS DNA30.
It's been almost two weeks with the rDNA. I now have a device that last me from 6:00 AM till I get home from work around 5:00pm! For comparison - the VS DNA30 battery lasted till about 1:00 pm while the CANA clone lasted till about 3:00pm. I've been using the included VTC4 and a LG HE 2500mah batteries.
When using a Kayfun Lite Plus or Russian 91% the device is a little top heavy but not precariously so. Just wish they had a black Shark Skin available for it.
It is every bit as nice as the VS DNA30.

I've had my rDNA for a week now and couldn't be happier. The battery life with a VTC5 seems to last forever. I use it all day at work, then at home or out all evening and still have battery to spare for the next day if I forget to charge. Compare that to the Cloupor with the same battery, atty, power, and it only seems to last a good 12 hours before needing a charge. Super happy with this purchase, can't recommend it enough.
The KFL+ nano kit looks pretty good on the rDNA. Doesn't make it feel/look as top heavy.

I'm waiting for the next round of shipments to go out. It can't get here quickly enough, lol.
Clint, the black skin was an option when I ordered over the weekend, you might want to check with them.
Clint i taking about the rDNA I believe, and I just checked, sadly, only red and teal for rDNA .. yet... Im sure they're coming though.
so, ya, Ive had my VS rDNA a week as well. VERY happy with it. Run R91, and Nautilus Mini on it.. rocks. I get all day + out of it with the OEM VTC4, but i am glad I can swap batteries out if needed!
I want to thank you XB. I read your post and figured out i had ordered the wrong device. Thankfully it had not shipped yet and they were able to cancel the order. Now I'm just waiting for their webmaster to update the options to upgrade the kit with the rDNA and the Russian and I'll reorder. Sigh.
hey.. your welcome! ya, its worth spending the additional $20 for the replaceable battery model. I haven't run out of power using it all day yet, but I prefer the option if needed.
That's exactly my feeling. If it costs $25 to send it back to them to replace the battery on the original, $20 and a slightly larger form factor makes it a no brainer for me. My only issue now is do i spend the extra $18 for the all black version of the russian so it matches the rDNA?
well.. that's what I did...there's a pic in this thread of my rig.. black rdna /. black r91... love it! flavor machine. and looks Professional! ( although a bit like a detonator! lol - thats what a friend called it.. )
Took me two days to hIt the buy button... I hit the button last night... I figure after buying a new air conditioning compressor- the price of this is minuscule in comparison... You could almost overlook the bill for the ac compresser and the mod price when pulled together Got me Gunmetal Rdna w/a red skin ...now to sit and wait... And watch my emails for status updates ...

Vaping on the vv 3.0 was good, but bumping up the wattage on this thing and getting those nice warm pulls..............wonderful.
Soon I'll have to shell out for the Kayfun/Russian/clone and start building. For now though, the Nautilus Mini with the new coil is killer. Loving it.

Just hit the buy button on the rDNA and a grey skin. Yeah the wait is gonna kill me. This will be my first dna 30 device so I finally pulled the trigger on it. Was strictly Provari and assorted mechs before this.
