Guys I am curiuos if its safe to charge through USB overnight? For some damn reason my battery always shows weak battery when im about to sleep lol. I guess its a good thing, it lasted me the day!
Yeah the new coating has been holding up well so far.
Then again my rdna40 from the very first run hasn't had any issues. I keep them both in the skin though

Informative post. Thanks KT!
Yet we're using a device with the ability to set that high.
If setting too high puts us closer to the danger then why put the danger on the market?
Based on this it would seem VS or Evolv are putting us at risk or no?

Huh, you can't be serious. Good grief![]()

The fact is that there is NO conclusive data yet that any of these studies prove anything. It's still too early to say. Brandon from Evolv stated that they made the max and min limits arbitrarily based on what THEY found to be the vaping range of most vapers, whether it was safe or not mainly because they didn't know (nor did anyone else). I would say putting out 100+w devices is more dangerous than a 40w, wouldn't you agree? Evolv stepped up and gave us temperature protection over more wattage. I know there's a lot of people on here that laugh at 40w but realistically, more than 99% of vapers don't need more than 30w, especially with regulated mods now. There's no good reason to sub-ohm unless you're still using mechs. The general American way of thinking "more is better" just isn't the case here. In fact it is more dangerous.
To anyone that had to send their shark back. Did VS email you to let you know they had sent out your replacement? Just wondering since mine shows delivered on Monday morning but I haven't heard anything about it. Though they did say it might take 2-3 days to ship based on inventory. It would be nice to know when it's on its way.

Hi guys. Proud new owner of a Rdna 40. Mine is the new version with the bigger screen. Mine has the battery indicator issue.
Forgive me for not reading through the thread thoroughly but to my understanding the battery issue where it doesn't give an exact readout isn't exactly an issue, yes?
If the answer is no, has anyone sent in their rdna to get it fixed? Honestly the battery issue is annoying the living guts out of me. Knowing your battery is 100%, then 50%, then 10% is unbecoming of a device this expensive or as reputable as VS.
