Go into the temp limiting adjustment mode and keep adjusting it DOWN (UP won't do it) and after the lowest Fahrenheit setting, it'll start showing Celsius temps.

If I remember correctly, not ALL of the boards with the larger screen have this option, only the ones manufactured after a certain date.
I hope that helps!

There is a Celsius option?? How?!

Yeah unfortunately add me to the list of rDNA victims. I just got my replacement on Wednesday, fired up and nickel on it and within 5 seconds it glitched on me. Same build worked flawlessly on my Flask and BAP. Spent 3 hours troubleshooting to avoid having to send this back and wait another 3 weeks but it glitches all the time.

Tried cleaning the battery contacts as per a recommendation by Evolv, nope. Tried 4 types of batteries... nope. Now I'm still waiting since Wednesday to hear back from Vaporshark. It still works of course but I don't think I can live with the annoyance of this. I mean, the way to correct it is put it in Stealth mode, if I paid 60-70 bucks yeah I probably wouldn't care. But I paid 280 CAD for this.

Not to sound rude but.. Me and some others here have gone through 4 devices before ending up with a proper one.

But that being said the service from vendors was so convenient that they worked closely to address issue by sending replacements. Never lost a nights sleep whether they s would warrant repairs. They must have lost all profit from sales like mine in postage. The clear winner and unreliable guy in this whole story was USPS, who made bunch of money and getting mail stuck at Opalocka, FL.

I'm sure the faulty ones are just a small percentage. Unfortunately I've fallen into that percentage twice already. But if I didn't have faith in VS and Evolve I'd be looking for a refund and not an exchange.

That said. New issue with the screen. Since I'm keeping a constant eye on it with almost ever hit I saw something new this morning. It was working fine but "no" display on the screen. Was working fine before that hit. Tried it a few times and it was working. But a completely blank display. Let it sleep and display came back. No scramble so far though after pulling and charging battery on my charger.

Well I pulled the battery before bed last night and used my charger (nitecore digicharger) instead of the USB port. The battery gauge on the shark showed it at around 1/2 charge. Maybe a slight bit lower. The digicharger showed it at 3.51v.

Got up 6 hrs later and it kept all my settings. I didn't know it had that feature. Thought I was going to have to reset everything when I got up and put the battery back in. So that was a good surprise.

I was trying this to test it and see if it would keep the screen from scrambling. Like it's done for others who have pulled the battery after a scramble and that stopped it from scrambling again. So far it hasn't scrambled. But it has gone completely blank one time.

I'll email VS sometime today or tomorrow and inform them but I'm telling them I'm waiting to send it back. The 120 day warranty should restart with each new unit they send. I'm only 3 days into this one and they have a 30 day wait right now anyhow. It works fine other then the display so I'm gonna enjoy the nickel build I have for a while before I return it.

Alxx....you and I sent are bad 40's back and received our replacements within a couple days of each other.

My replacement with a Feb 3 date is actually worse than the one it replaced. The new one has experienced ALL the defects mentioned in this thread plus a new one, flashing screen.

Every time it acts up, removing and reinstalling the batt has stopped the problem. I think I'll wait for a while before I call VS.

Alxx and freedogg what build date were your first units? Judging from your previous posts I'm assuming 1/16-1/20?
I'm waiting for a family member to give it to me when they visit overseas and I'm worried to death I have to deal with the RMA process while I'm not in US. It was delivered on 1/27 and received on 2/4 and seems theres a bad batch from 1/16 to today. :(

I kind of figured that. With all of the bad publicity the DNA 40 is getting, Vapor Shark cannot afford that kind of poor customer service. Promising someone 10 days processing time, taking their money, and then increasing processing time to 30 days would be very bad business. Even Fasttech is better than that.

But they've done this very thing before leaving us with 2 choices- wait it out or cancel the order.

My screen would flash as soon as I pressed the button. Then the screen would return and act normal. It would keep doing that until it went into sleep mode. They it would act normal for awhile, just like the screen scrambling issue. Has your flashing been the same?

Both of mine have acted up in the first 24 hours can you find someone to test it out for you? If not how about a vape shop near your family member. Maybe someone could suggest a quality shop near them. I'd get it tested while your exchange options are easier.

Ok here's a new one. I just bought a gently used rdna40 looks pristine and seems to function well. It has the large screen born on date is 12/3/2014. Tried all my devices on it. All RDA's work fine but none of my kanger sub tanks work. They all report check atomizer. I checked and cleaned the pins they all protrude slightly but even the big one with the spring loaded pin that sticks way out doesn't work. I put the 22mm beauty ring on that came with the big sub tank and voilà they all make connection with that installed. Has anyone else had this problem with the sub tanks? Other than this I love the VS. The rubberized coating and large screen an form factor are awesome!

That happens to my subtanks. You need to pull the pin out on the bottom a bit. The pin moves, even on the mini. Just use your fingernail and pull it out a bit and try again.

I can see that on the Mimi's but what about the full size. That spring loaded beast should make connection with a hybrid mod. Lol

I don't know about previous issues, but in this case, anyone promised 10 days processing time is getting what was promised. The only people who will need to wait up to 30 days are the people who ordered after the banner was changed to "up to 30 days processing time". They may have done this in the past, but they aren't currently doing it. My order was placed 2 days before the change fro 10 day to 30 days and it was shipped today, well within the 10 business day time period. As of right now I have no complaint with Vapor Shark's customer service.
