Um I didn't notice these prices on Vaporsharks site before ... some real deals here ...

Small screen rDNA40 now $149.99

Original lipo DNA30 (not rDNA) $69.99

Also new I think ...

rDNA40 Case Replacement Service $39.99

Well, that's just great. I wish those prices would have been in effect before I used the 70 I had to blow on a ipv mini 2. I need to just stop reading and researching for a few months when I order something.

Alxx....mine has only done the flashing once and I pulled the batt. This unit has a mind of it's own!!

I don't live far from Brandon/Evolv, might just take a ride and show them my "possessed" unit!!

I'm on day 3 of pulling the battery at night to charge it. Haven't had the screen scramble yet. But unfortunately it still flickers out for a second once and a while when I press the fire button. Also once on each day it seems to have gone into stealth mode. Then after sleep mode it came back with the normal display. Interesting that the scrambled screen seems to have stopped so long as I charge the battery externally.

Still having issues with my sub tanks and the VS. With or without the beauty ring its hit or miss. I've pulled the pin on the tanks numerous time. It fixes it for awhile but then it gets pushed back. Ive tried putting and extra o ring on there to keep it out but then it was too far out to make connection. Everything else I own works fine. The sub tanks don't have any problems on the vapor flask only my shark.

So excited. My rDNA 40 shows "out for delivery". I had it sent to me at work so I can break it out as soon an it shows up (and so my wife doesn't see the cost on any invoice that may be enclosed). I have a spool of Ni200 wire sitting in my desk just waiting. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. The mail man usually shows up around 10:30, so by 11:00 I should be vaping with TC. I can't wait!

Haha imagine if all you had was the wire. No screw Drivers or drill bit. No wick. And then you gotta just stare at it :p

I had the same issue with one of my STm's and my newest rDNA40. I fixed it by taking a piece of 24g kanthal and fashioning a ring that fit under the screw head that screws into the deck. The ring is small enough to allow the screw to still securely screw into the deck, but still extend it just enough to push the 510 pin out a hair more. That seems to be all it needed to make a connection, it was worked fine since.

Funny, I have one of the first rDNA's to come from VS and have not had one problem with it. A couple weeks ago I bought a second one with the larger screen, the newest rendition I am assuming. I have had the screen wig out once where everything was jumbled and it was scrolling....lol, it happen after replacing the battery with a fresh one. I have also had the screen just go out all together, still vaped fine, but the screen wouldn't come back until I took the battery out and put it back in, that also fixed the first issue.

Do it! I've been using mine just as much as my rDNA40. It's a great little device.

I've actually just ordered it today! Can't wait, expecting huge vapemail in a couple weeks, the DNA30 will serve as a backup just in case the rDNA40 has issues. You know, I knew the e-cigarette world moved fast but it puts it into perspective when the DNA30 was $170 a year ago and $100 just 3 months ago! It's been 2-3 years since I checked up on the new devices and I can't wait to try RDAs, RTAs with a device that can do more than 10+ watts!

Mind telling me the build date on your big screen rDNA40? Are you planning on RMA'ing or have the errors not occurred again.

I've also been loving my rDNA40 and have had mine since one first few batches. I have not had one single issue with this device other than the learning curve that went along with building nickel coils for TP mode, but that's due to the user. The only thing that concerns me is the longevity of the coating used. I have two minor chips along the bottom around the screen. I'm rather gentile with mine too. I only hope I can make it last.

Shark skins are a worthy investment. The new rDNA40's have a new coating that feels a bit rubberized, but it really doesn't feel any more durable. I still think a brushed SS version would be nice.
