KF4s on all of them... Are you still having good luck with Ni200 builds on them, the KF4 threads got out of hand and I lost track but I've still been thinking about trying one because the Lemo is just a little too airy for me.

My rDNA40 with ni200 build has been working great. Every once in a while after filling up, it asks if it's a new coil but that's to be expected with the spring. I select same coil and works as it should (great).

Sunday brunch time :)

Poutine for breakfast???

I did a 10 day motorcycle trip up to Labrador City and my friend would order a plate for the table almost every meal. It was yummy for the first few days but after a while, I wanted to kick him when he ordered it. We also ate at a Vietnamese restaurant one night and I ordered a combo plate that had frog's legs. Tasted like slimy chicken. If you can get over the texture, it was pretty good but not something I would seek out.

Wow Brampton is a pretty big city I see. Parlez le francais there. I used to buy some pipe tobacco from some guys up in that neck of the woods. 2 brothers I believe but they were the only ones that had this particular combo. It was really good and really different from any other pipe tobacco I had ever tasted. That was when I tried to quit smoking cigarettes and using a pipe. Did the same thing I do with ecig. Read a lot and thats how I happened upon this particular blend. Read about it in something like Pipe Aficionado or something like that. Do the Trailer Park Boys ever come around.

You know I have never had a problem with my Vapor Shark. I got one of the first ones after they got the big screen in. The only thing about it is the battery indicator is worthless. As soon as it starts to come off of full it drops really fast, like the gas gauge in a car. And the next thing it is gone.

I am using a Kanger sub tank. Seems to be really good for connections. What coil are you guys using. I am really not into cleaning them every 2 days though.

I'm using a 28 gauge spaced coil. About 9 wraps gets me to about 0.13 - 0.14 ohms. I rewick and clean the coil about every 15-20 ml of juice. Which for me is about 2 days.

So what coil are you guys using that you can remake and works every time. I take it if you have to clean it every 2 tanks it would be almost as easy to replace it if you have some wrapped ahead. I really was hoping that this nickel would have the same kind of performance that the kanthal does but apparently it doesn't. I have 28, 29 tempered and a lot of 32 that I have used twisted. They are hard for me to get placed everytime because my hands shake a little. Still wondering if I should try titanium. I see on amazon some people sell 12' and some sell 50' for the same price. Both say they are the same grade. Is it as connection dependant and what is it like to work with wrapping coils.

I've always just used a 28 gauge nickel, 8-10 wrap coil and have never had problems. Heck, I only rewick about twice a month.

OK is that a spaced coil and what ID if you don't mind me asking. I see that a 6 wrap coil of 24awg titanium would be just under .2 but I'm not sure about using it either. Thats pretty big wire but that is what they are using and saying dial the temp down about 100 degrees.

I just wrap it around my precision screwdriver. I'm guessing somewhere in between 2-3mm. I just took it and push it together a few times, so yes, being nickel, it's barely spaced.

when you say doubled over is that the same as twisted 32 and your doing 5 wraps at approx 2.5mm which is what I have spaced. What kind of longevity are you getting with that.

Not twisted, just two wires going side-by-side. Crimped them to ensure that they're touching each other.

Well I think I will try a 9 wrap 28awg 2.5mm spaced coil Well I just used steam engine and think I will go for 10 wraps of 29awg. Supposed to come out .15 we'll see I wonder if it would come out better on the coil master and stretched or free wrapped and scrunched. Well at 3mm I'd only have to go 9 wraps. Any ideas. I'm about to my end with this damned nickel wire but I will try again. I keep saying that but I keep trying because I want it to work for me.

If anything I get longer use between dry burns with Ni200 over Kanthal.
The juice has more to do with how quickly coils gunk than anything else.

I have evaporated 80 mls without dry burning and re wicking and still had a good taste.

I'll second that. I mix a 50/50 of pg/vg then usually mix around 90% of that to 10% flavoring. In one KFL I have that mix with TFA's juicy peach and in another I have a 15% mix with Quacks gizzard juice flavoring. Big difference in how the coils look. I took the top off each chimney to check them out. The peach is fine after two weeks. Just a slight discoloration. The gizzard juice coil and cotton however is super dark. Almost black. Not burnt or even burnt tasting. Just dark. From what I understand, and this may be wrong, it's the sweetener in the juice that's doing it.

If I ran too much Quacks gizzard juice, their max vg not just the diy flavoring, in my kfl for two weeks on kanthal I'd have to toss the coil because it gunked up so bad I couldn't pull the cotton out.
