BTW, the nickel coils in the nautilus suck since there isn't enough air flow to keep the coil cool. With the temp protection set to 450 it still hits it at 13 watts.

What type of juice are you running? My issue with these was that it was wicking too slowly and therefore hitting TP too soon. A thinner juice may help with that.

I've found that proper wicking (really wet wick) is just as important as good airflow.

I have two fully functional rDNA40's, one big screen and one small screen. When I save up a few more shekels, I WILL have another!! I cannot say enough good things about a good nickel build with competent wicking and TP is soooo much better than anything I've vaped to this point in my journey. I know I've said this countless times but I see new names pop up on this thread and don't want them to be discouraged. I sent the first unit I got back to VS because of screen glitch and new unit was back to me in 10 days! VS customer service was outstanding with my RMA. VS really was no questions asked, send it back mentality has garnered a loyal customer!!

Well, yesterday I ordered another rdna. My first go around I had 3 that were all faulty until I gave up. I couldn't resist temptation and gave it another try with the big screen model. Tracking says it will be here Monday so it's going to be a long few days. lol

How the heck did you get on so quick? Even before the Chinese New Year people were waiting 5-6 business days. With the Chinese New Year, the wait time was increased to "up to business 30 days".

The trick is to not go through vapor shark. I got mine at sweet-vapes, but electronicstix and a few other shops have them in stock at the same price as vapor shark. The only thing you don't get is the free juice.

My old man has to send his sx mini back because of a charge port. He had a new unit within a week. All yihi returns go through vendors, not the company.

There are quite a few guys that have RMA'd their VS and had a replacement within a week. Vaporshark, not the reseller, takes care of their customers because they're in the US, not China.

I wonder what the failure rate actually is with these. I have 2 that have not had a problem yet.

I wonder that too. Sometimes these types of forums attract the problems, other times they attract the praise. It's hard to know if this forum is a representative sample or not.

My small screen one made on 11/24/2014 has been just fine. But that's all I have to go on.

I kinda of really want a large screen version to go with my small screen version. But I'm hesitant to order one before the issues are solved.

Or maybe I'll just get the DNA 40 as a pocket device. Pair it with an ErlK in mini mode... Decisions decisions!

I was strongly leaning towards a vaporshark device, mainly the DNA 40 due to it's small form factor. However when I found out the battery is hardwired I pre-ordered the YiHi SX Mini M Class.

Both of mine continue to work flawlessly.
One from pre-order and one from cyber Monday, one small screen and one large.
All I use and have used since I got them. :)

No issues with either chip in the TC mode?

I guess nothing to do but wait and see if I have issues.

Did you check the size on these? The SX Mini M Class much bigger than the DNA 40 and also a little bit bigger than the rDNA 40 which uses a replaceable 18650 battery.

I think they're trying to funnel sales to other vendors.

Really? That's interesting. I guess they finally realized they couldn't do it themselves  So is there anyone that can ship one in a reasonable length of time?

I actually just ordered from sweet-vapes yesterday and USPS tracking says it's on schedule for delivery this Monday. It's actually sitting in a city 40 minutes from me right now. If only I had ordered Thursday. lol

Got my white shark skin and o-ring set for my STm, just waiting for the Cherry Vapes white and black cloud chaser drip tips to finish them off. Just ordered the DNA30 with a blue shark skin, STn and already have the blue o-rings for it. Going to be set with these three setups for a while....I hope:glare:
