Hahahha I knowwww I thought I had it down to a science. My Vape gear is always the first one in my carry on. For some reason today I decided to leave the case (I put all my mods into a carry case) on the desk. No idea why. Shakes head.
Good time to force myself to trust the rdna and k4 more I guess? I've always always always stuck to my Reos when I need to go out on long trips :/

Got my scratch and dent small screen yesterday, and to be honest i didn't see anything wrong with it before putting the sharkskin on it. I may go looking for the scratch and/or dent at some point soon but may not bother. I'm really impressed with just how solid it feels though, heard about it in reviews but still exceeded my expectations in that regard, using it right now with a ST Mini (no connection issues, got it a couple weeks ago, maybe kanger sorted it out?) , waiting for my nickel wire to show up to start to try out temp control (probably in the ST Mini as well as an RDA). But yeah the small screen doesn't bother me at all especially considering the screen isn't in the most convenient place anyway. Mine had a fully charged battery when i got it (or a fully charged battery according to the DNA so somewhere between 3.6-4.2 volts I guess.)
Not sure if others with the scratch and dent ended up also getting more or less perfect finished on theirs? I'm definitely glad I got the discounted on as I'm really not sure how I feel about the screen being on the bottom, I'll get used to it and figure out if I'm going to buy another in the future or if I'll go a different route when I either want a second DNA40 or whenever the next DNA comes out I'll at least know if the bottom screen is an issue for me.

Thanks smyth for the info on the scratch and dent rdna. Mine's coming today ( scratch and dent ). Wanted to see if I like the rdna. Thinking if I like it so much will buy another one.

My dna 40 was just delivered. Can't wait to get home and check out the size difference against my rdna 40. Going to be a long last two hours at work for sure.
Originally I was concerned about the screen being on the bottom. I got over it - I have 3 rDNAs now! There's not many mods you can really look at their screen while you are vaping anyway - even if the display if facing your eyes, it's often too close to focus comfortably. It quickly becomes second nature to glance at the bottom of your rDNA; or if you need to see the screen in real time while you vape, just use a mirror or your smartphone camera.
Wow love the size of the dna. It's definitly pocket size. just the slightest bit larger then my iStick 20w. The only thing I wish it had was the larger screen. At 50 my eyes are not what they used to be and that screen is tiny. Or I should say the watts are okay, it's the ohms and temp display that are tiny.

Both of mine have an ever so slight rattle of the fire button and the up/down buttons. Not an issue for me. Then again, I rarely shake it!

All three buttons on mine rattle if I shake it pretty hard. The rattle is more noticeable just lightly touching the buttons, or rolling my fingers over them. Somehow, while I hated that my iPhone 5s home button rattled (iphone 6 does not) I actually like the rattle on my VS. It kinda gives me that feeling of holding a NES controller way back in the day waiting for my turn on 2-player Super Mario Bros. Haha.

I bought a Subtank Mini and at first I really didn't like it with the kanthal stock coils. It was sub par to say the least. When I took it up to 21 watts it couldn't keep up and was tasting burnt on a .5. I ordered some OCC nickel coils from Vaporshark to stick on my rDna 40 and WOW! The subtank mini with the nickel coils is amazing. Great flavor and vapor production. As Rip Trippers would ay full on flavor, it's sick as Tiiitttss! Vaporshark confirmed to me they are gonna make the Atlantis coils as well. I really hope Vaporshark will come out with some Delta 2 and Arctic coils as well. There are so many great sub ohm tanks hitting and would be so much better with some nickel coils.

No tracking update since my original tracking number notice. Expected delivery was today ... Nothing.
UGH. I personally very RARELY have issues with USPS but this will make the second package in a week where tracking wasn't updating and I received (I BETTER receive it) the package after expected delivery.

I ordered mine on the 19th of last month and called Vaporshark yesterday to see about possibly changing my order to the scratch and dent version so I didn't have to wait the remaining 18 business days and they said they are expecting to get a shipment in next week so I figured I might as well wait. Waiting sucks but it's going to be worth it!
