Send it back for black ...... If that's what you ordered. Be happy.

Doubt they would swap it for a now used one. I had waited over two weeks through multiple promised shipping times, and didn't want to wait another unspecified amount of time.
If I could mail it back knowing they had a black RDNA available to mail out right away I would.

Yeah the more I read this thread the more I have already convinced myself I am ordering one. I held a buddies VS DNA 30 today and HOLY CRAP I never realized that there that small it made my Hana look like goliath. I might save the $20 and just get the original DNA 30 VS ... I can't stand devices that rattle and I know I am not going to shake it while I'm vaping it's just more less I know they rattle and that will bug the crap out of me just knowing that. I might contact VS and see if they have a solution for the rattling buttons.

I went with the VSDNA over the rDNA for the size alone. I never thought the battery would last as long as it does. If I ever start vaping at over 12 watts, or if this thing doesn’t hold up (I expect a year and I have lots of stuff to vape on when I have to send it back) I might get the rDNA, but with the BVC aspire coils I’m only vaping at 8 to 10 watts. I’ve only ever run out of power once and that was at around midnight after starting on a full charge at around 8:00am. Stealth mode really helps BTY – I think it saves a lot of battery. I would imagine I could go 2 days on the rDNA and a 1.8ohm coil at 9 or 10 watts.

Your right I can get 2 days on my rdna vaping at 9 watts. Also use a Nautilus with BVC Coils.

I definitely got jerked around on my order and still wish it was black like I ordered. So,if there was something to gripe about I guess I could be first in line. I hadn't taken the sharkskin off since I got it, and just did to check for you. At least on mine I can't even see the buttons move when I shake it to hear the rattle people were talking about. I couldn't even tell if it was inside or outside with the rattle. I can tell you the issue has been way over hyped. Probably because PBusardo mentioned it in his review. I think he is great and he is very thorough. I really hate stuff that is not right. That being said this is a real non issue. It never ever ever bothers me the buttons on mine have been fine.

That's good news man I know when I watched Phil's video and he was shacking his I could hear it a good bit and that's just something I don't want to have to deal with. Your saying yours doesn't rattle at all if any or you just can't really hear it?

What I was saying about the rattle. Yes, I can hear it if I vigorously shake it side to side, but at least for me it had been a complete non issue. Never ever noticed it or was bothered by it. I am able to make the rattle sound. I just did it to check for you, but it had never been a thought in my mind. What I am saying is for me it is a complete non issue, and I am particular about stuff.

Lol Yep, that wait was messed up.

You'll be fine as long as you don't fall into the abyss of the Rda :) If that happens you will be at 25+ watts before you know it and the 1300mh battery will only be enough for a few hours:( I agree the small size of the DNA 30 is very nice but I can conceal a rDna with an Origen pretty well:vapor:

You really should read the last 20 or so pages of this thread and you will understand :facepalm:

Oh I see. He was just impatient. I get it now. They didn't send him the wrong color. That's what he agreed to. Patience is a virtue.... If you can't deal with the wrong color that you agree to get.

Ok awesome this is good to know I still don't see me using RDAs in the near future I doubt I would be vaping any higher than around 13-14watts so I should hopefully be able to get a full day out of the DNA 30. Thanks again for your input!
the rattle thing is a non issue. if I really try to make it.. sure, small rattle. but i have never heard it unless I was looking for it.

for me, the bump is size is worth having the ability to swap batteries if I so choose. I remain delighted with this purchase.
Yeah everyone I talked to said what you said you will NEVER notice it unless you shake it vigorously. Still knowing it rattles would piss me off haha I'm just super .... about that kind of stuff. Cheers

I was quoted multiple shipping times that they broke their word on for a full price purchase. This was while not responding to emails and randomly having their customer service lines go to voicemail during office hours and then not returning the messages. If you were lucky enough to reach a live person they would say they had no idea when they would get more. So ya I guess after 15 days passed from the original promised shipping I got a little impatient. Guess you are on of those guys that doesn't mind a run around when you pay for something. A half a month later if they won't even give you an expected shipping date or when they will have more product to ship no worries.

For those who are wondering bout using the new aspire BVC coil, I used my rDNA with both my nautilus and nautilus mini + the BVC.
I got more flavor and vapor now than when I used a mecha. Depending on the flavor strength of the fluid, I used 8.5-12.5w.
Bear in mind tho that i didnt go into RBA/RTA is because i am not to fond with too much flavor (makes me a bit nauseous).
And even with the setup im using right now, It is enough to change my liquid preferences as the flavors and nic level is heightened as well.

Thanks. I appreciate that. :)
heh.. ya. newportlocal.. brother - you showed your patience with that mess! I would have just dealt with the color change as well, as opposed to re entering that shark tank LOL

its skinned anyway, so.. ya. I think you should be nominated for sainthood with your dealing with what can only be described as VS's most fubar customer treatment of the year!
