What batteries are you referring to?
Any battery that's abused and pushed past its limits.

I received my device today. Button rattle is still present, paint issue on the side of the device, and it came with a Panasonic 18650 and not the Sony VTC4....
No. When the battery is toward the end of its charge, down around 3.3V, 30 watts, plus the losses in the regulator means you'll be pulling close to 12A from the battery. Add some safety factor and what you want for a DNA 30 (that you're actually vaping at 30 watts) is a battery that's rated 15A continuous or more. The Samsung 25R is fine, as is the LG HE2.Actually with 30 watts and a mid sub-ohm build you'll pull less than 8 amps.

Oh, and the ohms of your build are irrelevant when it comes to these kinds of calculations on a DNA. All that matters is how many watts you're putting into your coil.
 Thanks
Thanks Curious if this is the "official vaporshark thread.
I just ordered the rdna. I was a provari user for a while then got into the mechs and dripping. I got a vs DNA30 as my first vw device and OMG love it! It doesn't leave my side. The only drawback I thought was battery life. So I got the hcigar clone to get a feel for the 18650 battery life under similar usage and a week later decided to pull the trigger. Now I patiently wait for vapemail.
I promise myself this will be my last mod
Well, when I PAY 200 bucks for a device I expect a certain degree of workmanship. Looking at the hcigar; which J's have thre price and the DNA which is cheaper I have fairly high expectations on the rdna. I doubt I'll be let down at all. I'm not one to buy a whole lot of gear. It what I do buy I make sure is built well and has that quality to it. Granted it will get beaten all to hell; which, is the reason for making sure I still to well build mods. Kinda learned the hardway after only having a couple of mods last a week.
Ha-ha!!!Yeah I agree but button rattle is very low on my list of "quality" craftsmanship... I think a custom designed case and custom designed piggy back pcb board is good enough for 200... Now if I paid 1000 maybe I'd expect more.. But it's not like I'll be practicing my ninja stealth skills and have to worry about button rattle

Made in China?I think its funny that we act like $200 for some aluminum made in China and a $50.00 chip (which they are paying less because they are getting it in bulk) is not a big deal. I am assuming that getting the buttons not to rattle wouldn't be a hard fix, but I am not very mechanically inclined, so not sure.
On a positive note, they did install a little something to protect the battery from being damaged in transit, which is nice to see. Some piece of metal was causing dimples in batteries during shipping, so that is not a concern anymore, thankfully.
Taking the country of origin out of the equation I didn't realize they were Chinese, kinda cool that a Chinese company is using American electronics... I dig that idea!I think its funny that we act like $200 for some aluminum made in China and a $50.00 chip (which they are paying less because they are getting it in bulk) is not a big deal. Taking the country of assembly out of the equs
Looking at the rdna and the hcigar side by side the difference in price is more than justifiable. At least it is to me. A button rattle that happens then I shake my device isn't exactly a deal breaker; especially, since IR goes away when it's wearing a rubber.
- actually i like the layout, form factor and build quality more than the hana mod.
