So after reading about the shark week deal I ordered on the 11th.
Got shipping notice and tracking on the 12th
Tracking never updated so I called this morning.
A very pleasant woman on the phone told me my order would ship on the 22nd, of this month presumably.

I'm not sure why my order still shows "shipped". This is disappointing, for sure and I'm a little concerned
about the possibility of it not getting shipped next week because their inventory system shows it shipped.
The tracking number is still showing the same information.

Has this happened to anyone else? What was the eventual outcome?
no. but as jake already posted.. its probably due to the sell-a-thon-age. lame that their system isn't accurate though. there is a email support function. i always got accurate responses from that by the next day. you might want to do that.. ask why does it show shipped.. if it didnt?

Does anyone know if I can plug my USB into my apple plug that is in the wall, or could this damage the device?

Ive used apple, samsung, etc. no worries.

Oh I need to make a decision before the 17th VS rDNA or an authentic Hana Modz ....... I am leaning more towards VS but still have the Hana in my mind. Hmmm
I wanted the hana mini so bad before but after reading so many bad reviews about hana like people getting crooked 510 connectors, and bad customer service, I looked elsewhere. rDNA caught my eye so I went for it. I'm sure I made the right choice

The hardest choice for me was which one I wanted more, the regular VS DNA or the rDNA. I wanted something really small and compact but looking at pics, the rDNA looked better overall with regular sized atomizers and plus, its not much bigger than the regular

This will be fun to watch. I bet the provari becomes the back up. I know mine did after my first DNA 30.

Hi everyone, I posted yesterday on a separate post but didn't get any responses. I was wondering of the rDNA had any safety features built in it. For example

-I didn't see a vent hole for the battery. Does it have one?

-I know it doesn't have reverse battery protection. Not concerned since I always place the battery the right away.

-Does it have short circuit protection against a failed atomizer?

I guess what I am asking is, I don't want to buy a mechanical mod which is why I have a Provari. I like the safety features the Provari has. I can't wait for the PS3 to come out and I like the extra power and form factor the rDNA offers. So before I buy a rDNA I was wondering if someone can help advise me of any safety features this device may or may not have.

Thank you

There are various seams in the body that would allow gasses from a battery catastrophe to vent.

Right, it does not, but why remove the battery? Plug it in to charge it.

-Does it have short circuit protection against a failed atomizer?
Yes, of course.

Yeah I don't like how the pin on the hana isn't supported by a spring.

Just throwing this out there: if you're not hell-bent against clones, you can have both for less than the price of an authentic Hana. Buy the VS and one of the Hana clones. Then you will always have a backup.

After getting a look inside at Vaporsharks, authentic Hanas, and Hana clones, the Vaporshark is without question the most well-built of the three. While the Hana clones may be a little rough, what with the excess hot glue dumped everywhere, the difference in the build quality between the authentics and clones is not that drastic. In fact, the 3 or 4 clones I've had apart do have sloppier glue application than the 3 or 4 authentics I've seen inside of, but all of those clones had straight 510 connectors (my FT even has an adjustable one), while 2 of the 4 authentic Hanas that I checked out had crooked connectors.

I'm not trying to stir up the authentic/clone Hana quality debate, but after having played with both of them, I would never spend $250 for one. And, after playing the Vaporshark, I would never spend more than $75 for either a real or cloned Hana.

Buy the Vaporshark, and get yourself a $55 Hana clone as a backup.

I see our resident helpful guy has responded nicely, helpfully! well played Jake! ( understand, none of us, that I know of, work for VS. we are just owners, and in the spirit of this rocking ECF community... continue to lurk this thread to help, just as others helped us when we sought purchase . paying it forward! )

regarding hana or rDNA.. yes, can't beat the replaceable battery aspect. I haven't had to often, more often just charge it, just the same, I like the flexibility it offers, knowing its there. I also prefer to spend the extra cash for most stuff, and buy authentics. some stuff, like RDA's etc, Ill go clone, and buy the authentic if I like it. Electronics though, for me, require quality, thus, I don't do electronic clones.

regarding venting; DNA ( genuine ) offers safety, that will prevent battery over run, just the same, worst case, yes, there are seems that provide more than adequate gas release if needed.

the spring loaded 510 is awesome. haven't dropped a atty on it yet, tank, rda, etc, that hasn't connected the first time.

these rDNA's are well built. I really love mione. I have a REO which for many becomes the "one device".. but I love the VS rDNA so much, It must come along too. always.

One reason I ove a quality MOD like the VS rDNA is Ive discovered I need multiple flavors available during the day. I get flavor fatigue pretty fast, if I dont switch it up. even my fav juices.. loose the punch or joy, if I use em consecutively. that VS is awesome, in that I can have 2-4 tanks or attys ready to go, just switch them out. R91, Elf Queen ( Erlkonigin - soon to be added ) Nautilus, etc. Even RDA's. Simple task!

I love my RSM bottom feeder, but my VS can't be beat and I'm sure I'll say the same of the rDNA.
A genuine Evolv DNA coupled with phenomenal build quality and an 18650 is a win/win.

Hmmmm.... a bottom feeding DNA device....
