I think we nailed it !

A #8 Ateco cake decorating tip is the perfect size to punch the hole for the minus button
After you cut it all out, put the button in, and gently insert into rDNA while holding the plastic back a little.
Trim excess and put door back on.

Great work Jake. Now make a actual sized template, so everyone can cut one out. A downloadable .jpg. To cut out the hole they can just fold the template in half and cut out a semicircle :). Now do we need to tackle that pesky fire button?

Thanks.
Will have to figure out how to make a template that prints out the right size.

That should be miles easier - tons of room - I'm thinking 510 o-ring...

WoW! Simple solution - Do Not Shake Vigorously!
It is not not a James Bond Martini!!! LOL
So you have no sympathy at all for those who vape because nic helps with their Parkinson's disease? ;)

I say that only half in jest because there's at least one such person here on ECF.

Old Joke: Which is worse, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's?

Parkinson's is worse because I'd rather forget about my beer than spill it! :D

After looking at this again this morning I've decided not to make a template available.

There is simply too much risk for a fire with a piece of paper that close to the boards in the rDNA.
My rDNA is back to as delivered condition.

I will leave the information here, but know that it's at your own risk should you decide to pursue this.

I have an original VS DNA20 as well as DNA30 bottom-feeder with the screen on the bottom. I have no qualms with having the screen on the bottom, nor have I heard any complaints about it from owners of devices that have 'em located there.

What I have heard is complaints about the Vapor Flask owners that having the screen on top is annoying when you're vaping in a dark room.

I've wondered about the 'in yo face' display on that.

Back when I still used a ProVari... I spent more time making sure the display was pointing down than vaping it.
Nothing quite like a display refracting through the polished edge lenses of your glasses...

Yes I thought about this as well. The temperature needed to achieve combustion isn't likely though.

The screen on the bottom of the unit, doesn't seem very convenient. I don't own any of the Vapor Shark units but when I get a box mod, I will be purchasing one from VS. The quality and size of units are great. So far I have heard positive reviews.

I wondered about that myself. It is actually a great location especially with the evolv DNA 30 chip keeping the screen lit a long time. You will enjoy it.
