I have a DNA30 and a rDna30 VaporShark. I've had no trouble with either one. I just got a XPV 40 so I'm gonna wait a little while before I buy a VaporShark 40.
In my 4th week with my rDNA30. It's been flawless. Works every single time. No cosmetic, mechanical, or electrical problems of any sort. The form factor and performance are fantastic for my use.
It quickly became my all day carry and preferred device. I intend to buy another. Really just lurking here now waiting for initial reports on the 40.
Also keeping my eye out for mvp3 and yihi sx mini, but they'll have to be real strong to pull me from DNA. I think Brandon and John from Evolv are the "smartest guys in the room" right now.
Evolv is making the chips for the MVP3.
I agree about Evolv and why I'm impatiently waiting for the rDNA 40.
So at the top its says allow 10 days processing but on the line item is ordered it say ships Thursday 10/30 
Anybody know what the 10 day processing is all about? I never dealt with these guys before.

I pretty much just assume that any estimate about shipping they post is inaccurate
Yeah, about this. I must have been really tired when I placed my order. It was on my XPV order I got the choice on batteries.
So, my bad. lol.
Rebuilt my kayfun last night before bed and filled 'er up so I'd be ready to go today. However, I aparently cut my cottonton to thin and I'm getting a sarcastically wonderful burnt taste! Now I really can't wait for my dna40! It'll be awesome to never burn wicks again!

No, just means those who purched first gets the first batch and if to purchase now I would be a few waves behind. I only called cause when attempting to order it said it would be shipped Thursday and I doubted that.
Wub. Hopefully I'll get my shipping notification sometime tmr. I put my order in quite a few hours before it was supposed to be up on the website. Crossing my fingers

I'm 100057149. Hopefully not all of the 368 orders after yours were rDNA40 orders or I might not ship first day.
I decided I wanted the VS rDNA 40 late last week and knew it wouldn't ship on the 28th so I called the semi-local VS shop in NJ and reserved one. They were very friendly and they said they'll call when it comes in. Hopefully this week.

It's definitely worth checking local B&Ms. If they preordered early you can probably get one before an rDNA40 preordered now directly from VS will arrive.
I ordered before the VS official announcement - #100056722 (placed on October 14, 2014 7:37:25 AM EDT). I called today and the person I spoke with did not know when they would have the rDNA40s to be shipped out.
