Well, 24 hours now with the new vaporshark rDNA 30 and I'm loving it! I'm running a Tobh on it with dual 28ga coils at .8 ohms. vaping at 30 watts - awesome vapor and flavor!

My only complaint is that the paint is already starting to wear out where the atty screws in. You can't notice it with the atty on, but the 510 is obviously slightly crooked as there's a half moon "swirl" already starting to develop around one side of the 510 connection. Not a huge deal as you can't see it with an atty on, but still worth noting.

All in all I'm very happy with it though! Even with an rda at 30 watts, I'm able to blow some decent clouds! :)

I know....sucks. But what can I do? I'm stuck with the mod now, so I guess I just have to be careful...inevitably it's going to happen, though....:(

I strictly use Kayfuns on mine and have cut out a piece of a baggy that I keep on the bottom, so it does not fully come in contact with my rDNA. Should I have to do this? Is it a pain? You better believe it, but in the long run it will increase the resale of my device, so I am still doing it. I am thinking of trying to find a very thin oring to put on the bottom of my tanks. Not sure if they can just add some kind of protectant to the paint on the top to stop this or not.... but wish they would.

That's a good idea. How about using a screen protector sheet on the top? Then just cut a hole for the 510. Would also solve the juice running in those channels issue.

I bought some screen protectors, but worry that they will just shift and scratch it. Unfortunately, once the damage is done its done.

For those of you still looking for Sony VTC5s. At $39 for two, they're more expensive than last time, but fairly priced given the scarcity. I believe these to be genuine based on the pictures and the fact I have bought them from this seller before. Two are mine, the rest are going fast ...

He has a lot of negative feedback, which worries me but thanks.

Your problem is the 510 is crooked that's what your atty is making a half moon scratch.

Yeah, I know. it's unfortunate, but I guess I just have to live with it. To be honest, you can't notice that it's crooked with an atty attached to the mod, so it's just evvvvver so slightly crooked. But it's enough to put the half moon scratch in the mod.....I can't return it now that I've used it, and I am leaving for a long business trip on Monday and want to bring it with me, so I will just live with the crookedness I guess...... :(

It's not bad I've Sen other mods that were really bad. No biggie, try some vinyl wrap for a car you can get it from Amazon for a few bucks, clear vinyl wrap.

Worse at this price point? I have only have experience with Provari and seen Hanas, which are comparable in price, but didn't have this issue. Did you do the vinyl thing with success? That would be great not to have to fumble with this plastic bag that I have to keep taking on and off.

Well, I am really bummed out right now. My new Vaporshark rDNA 30 (that's less than 3 days old) crapped the bed...... :(

I plugged it in to charge. Then, when it was done charging, I took it off the charger and went to have a vape. Immediately the device said "Check Atomizer" and I had the same atty on it that I was previously using! I tried 7 different attys (yes 7) and 3 different batteries, and every time the device said "Check Atomizer". But not only did it say Check Atomizer, it made a "clicking" sound, almost like there was/is a short in the system. I tried cleaning the 510 conn. with a dry paper towel, but the problem has persisted.

I bought this mod in hopes that it could come on my upcoming business trip with me, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. I have a call into Vaporshark and a message in with the seller on Ebay that I got it from. Hopefully one way or another I can get it replaced!

Has anyone run into this problem before, either with a Vaporshark or another DNA 30 where it says "Check Atomizer" and makes an audible clicking sound? I am 100% sure I didn't do anything wrong; didn't drop it or misuse it in any way.... The battery was NOT put in backwards, this I am also 100% sure of....

This sucks..... :(

That sucks... Did u try opening the hood and make sure all the wires to the 510 are connected

No, I didn't do that....I didn't want to void the warranty in case I had to send it back to Vaporshark.....is there a way they can tell if I've been rootin' around in there?

Not that I know of... I didn't see a seal when I took mine apart

OK. Well maybe I'll pop it open and have a look-see......I mean if the wires going to the 510 were compromised in some way, wouldn't it just say "check atomizer"? This says check atty but it's also making a pretty loud clicking sound.....that's what leads me to suspect a short in the system (or on the board itself).....
