Not optimal because brass is softer than steel but I highly doubt someone will wreck their 510 unless they are super super careless

I've dropped my small vs dna a few times on pavement and it's still chugging along
+1 the rdna30 I've had I dropped 3 times... Even. Wrecked my tobh from doing it... Still chugging

I managed to partially dethread the 510 on my rDNA30, no drops and generally babied. I did have some trouble screwing the Aspire Nautilus on which I think was because both the atty and unit have spring loaded pins, the extra futzing over time probably did it.
Everyone's gonna have differing opinions on this I guess, but here's mine.
I've owned a couple of mods with chrome plated brass 510. Like the mvp for example.
Dropped it when I got off my car when it was on my lap. The Kayfun ripped the threads off the 510.
Fact is, brass is reaaaally soft. And when you consider how thin the threads are....
Also if you ever accidentally cross thread an atty... There is a chance you can screw up the threading real bad. I've been extremely paranoid and careful about that.
Sure, you can say "just be careful". But dammit look at me. I'm a bird with stubby wings. I drop things.
I've also dropped my PROVARI from the 2nd floor of my apartment, dropped it from the roof of my car. The stainless steel 510 is still flawless.
So yeap. Just my POV on that part. Still love the vaporshark though. Just can't understand why they wouldn't use SS. That would add like what? 3 bucks at most to the cost!

I don't have my rDNA yet, but is there any chance the 510 connector can be replaced with an SS one?
Guys, my 510 connection came loose on my rDNA 30. I can't attach any atty as it will push the 510 down... I opened it up and cant find a way to make it stick again... I'm always gentle with it what the hell is this?!

Something must have broke inside because it won't (or very difficult) go into the hole if the board is in the way when installing it...

Hm... What do you mean? I took a look inside and can't find anything actually wrong with it, it seems fine, it just seems like it kind of "unglued" from the "hole" at the top.
