I'm still running an i7 920(3.99 ghz), I've had an itch to upgrade for a couple years now but I just can't justify it since the 920 still does everything I need it to. I've never had a PC stay viable for this long before and it amazes me, my PII 350 and socket a Athlon were thoroughly outclassed within 6 months.

I would highly recommend getting a Xeon x56XX off of ebay used. I got my x5650 hexacore for $65 wha wha whaaat! You'll get an additional 2 cores and it will remain viable even longer. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely true.

I've found that there are usually four groups of people. Fanboys, satisfied customers, dissatisfied customers and haters.

The loudest tend to be haters, followed by fanboys. Dissatisfied customers and satisfied customers are the people I want to hear from (more objective views), and they tend to be the quietest...

The people I personally know who have Vapor Sharks have been pleased with both their products and their customer service. However, there were several posts on ECF where things have gone badly south. The difference was confusing to me but there wasn't a product aside from the rDNA40 that had the features I wanted so I reluctantly ordered one.

I have had email exchanges and phone calls with Mike and Will in CS. Both have been nothing but helpful, charming, professional and followed through on what they promised.

I felt very comfortable in ordering a second rDNA40 on Cyber Monday but I always mentally add a couple of weeks to anything not in stock when purchasing from any vaping vendor. Manufacturing delays and the odd customs holdups aren't uncommon in the industry. Also, given that they have had some serious past CS stumbles I'm prepared to be patient if something happens that doesn't get handled correctly right away.

Anyone spotted an Acrylic tank for the Tilemahos? GR-Modders is going nada on it this time around :(

I haven't heard anything about a clear tank, acrylic or otherwise for the Tilemahos but I'm perplexed as to why you would want one. It would show threading and part of the wicked juice channels. Seems to me that would be some serious ugly. :(

As a practical matter, I have personally found no need for a clear tank. When the flavor fades a little I just fill up the tank. When it comes time to clean my Tilemahos and change wicks or coils the DNA 40's temp protection lets me vape the tank is more than dry enough to pull it apart without any mess.

Could be worse. You could be "txramguy" or "txchevyguy"

Lol true. My WHOLE family drives fords. Not only Fords, but Ford trucks. #1 best selling truck 37 years and counting!

Only one who doesn't drive a Ford is one of my uncles. (I don't know what's wrong with him. Dropped on his head as a baby maybe? Lol)

I bought my first american vehicle ever 4 yrs ago. 2010 F150. Much nicer features than my BMW M3. I bought my mom a Fusion a couple of years after.

Mike told me just yesterday all rDNA cyber monday purchases weren't going to ship until mid-Dec. Who'd you kill to get yours early?

I placed my order 830pm PST.on Monday.
Got shipping confirmation Tue morning.
I did NOT order a kit, just the mod and some Nickel.

Scratch that.. I'm a dummy it's for something else I ordered.

I have noticed that I have totally stopped using my attys which aren't see thru (e.g. Prometey-I & II, Spheroids). Attys which had dual tank option/s have never been used in their all metal modes (e.g. K'funs). Attys which could be made see thru have been converted with aftermarket clear tanks (e.g. Penelope, Oddy). The only all metal atty I still use is the ESTIA, but never out of home.

Why? B'coz I'm wary of the unknown! I never like to be caught outdoors with an emptying out tank (tho I usually have two devices with me). I like to 'see' the tank is full when grabbing it before leaving the door. And I don't have the time or inclination to top-it-up before going out. Besides, I hate topping up anyway b'coz I rewick with every tank fill, every atty.

This is purely me. I'm not opinionated against all metal tanks, but this is entirely for my convenience. And I'm all about the 21mm form factor for 18xxx devices, the reason why I'm considering the Tilemahos, just that the unavailability of the clear tank is holding me back.

Hey guys as many of you know I have purchased the original dna 30 model but I have a question for those of you that have one. What was your ideal build on a rda?
It depends on the rda for me.
But usually for me, if its a tobh style deck i do a dual coil, 26g, at 2.5 mm diameter. @ 0.5Ω
For the magma i do a single coil 24g at 3mm diameter at 0.6-0.8Ω
The 454 type i do dual vertical coils with 26g and 3mm diameter@ 0.5Ω

Those are just what i like and tend to go back to with my dna30S

That's fantastic because that's where I like to build and I was told it wouldn't produce a warm vapor or a good amount of cloud production. Don't like to go any lower due to the fact that I can't handle it.

The dna30, isnt supposed to fire below 0.5Ω anyway. One mine will, but, thats a secret. Lol

Im happy with mine that way, right now my 454 Is at 0.5 set to 25.8w and its making me happy. I habe the hobo at 0.5 dual coil at 22w.
I vape more for flavor though.

I'm with you on flavor. I have a hana clone that fired well at 0.4. That makes me happy that I made a good purchase. Was considering the ipv3 or something somethjng similar but don't think I'll ever need it.

Ive used some of the high wattage mods, I just always go back down into the 20-30W range. I came reslly close to getting an atlas or a bcmodz sx350 but after a couple of pulls in The 40+ Range my curiosity was satsfied and i was back to my piddly 25w range.
The smoothnes and consistency in the dnas just suits my day to day needs more. Not to mention i like not needing to drag around batteries, i grab my shark and go all day. When i feel like exercising my lungs i just grab a mechmod.

Absolutely. I have a panzer and a Chi Yu for that. 20-25 watts are a good range for me. You are a great help btw.
