I did.:)

has anyone done a dual coil with the nickel wire in a rda? it just seems like the resistance would be so low, you couldn't do it.

i do dual coils on my orchid all the time it usually ends up at .1 .09 and works great. ive been using the build i have now almost 2 weeks but six of those days i was in the hospital but i still vaped just not as much:ohmy:

I got an ohm meeter to build on, only because it was a clearance sale item and was figuring i could use it when i build rdas for my mechs. Its never come out of the box.
Been trying to find a quality ohm meter. But in the end- I hear they're all the same. Which ohm reader do you recommend?

Someone asked about VS's juice. I got a bottle of Strawberry Cheesecake (12mg) with my rDNA 40. It's pretty good.
Good I ordered the same thing!

Can't comment about Ecigcity but I've been real happy all around with Smoke Evolution. And their shipping is super fast.

Try vapercompany.com*. I ordered mine about a month ago and got it in two business days ($33.95 + free shipping).

I have one in my tobh 9 wraps, 3mm, with 28g nickel- its read at .11 and works groovy for me.

thanks. I've been procrastinating getting into rebuildables for 4 years now. I bought the dna 40 this past Monday and it's well past time to build my own coils. I wasn't so much interested in getting into sub-ohming; but to get the full benefit of this technology, one has to use the nickel wire which won't allow one to get much above .2, if that. That low in ohms really concerned me, but as someone that I read said, the actual resistance of an atty isn't near as important as it used to be because the TC will keep the coil from overheating regardless of the resistance. I did watch the basilray video, and it was pretty cool how he hit the fire button and it would not burn the cotton wick.

I'm looking at a couple atomizers. An RDA, Stillare v2 by infinite. I'm also probably going to get the new Kangertech sub ohm tank. I like the idea that I can use their new cotton wick bottom coils, plus I can build my own coils. For me this is a transition piece while I'm figuring out how to build my coils.

No, no, no....mom always said he was the evil one!! lol

Kiwi and I are waiting for our 2nd VS40's to ship. I didn't bite on the Challice though!

And you claim to be the evil twin, ha! The Kiwi is going to bankrupt us all, heck he talked us all into the rDNA just so he could find out the failure rate on the newest DNA 40 boards. :)

Someone told me VS sells the TC heads for some of the aspire tanks, not sure i dont have any lf those so i haven't looked.
In any event ummmm if you haven't done any rebuilding yet, the tobh can be a tad tricky JUST to get the negative leads into the negative posthole...not much, but im weird about advice, i hate giving someone advice on something that'll make them lose interest on something that can be fun.
The magma, is no cloud chucker, but great flavor, easy to build and can.run dual or single equally well. The clt is another good one.

YESSS. YESSSSSSS. My plan has worked flawlessly. MWAHAHAHHAAH. Fyi I bought a lemo from fasttech, and a lemo drop from Eciggity lol

That aside,

1) I love the kayfun type atties. Between the kfl+ and r91, I have 9 authentics. But imo they just aren't suited for nickel builds. The airflow simply isn't enough to support the size of the coil. Strictly imo of course, but between PMs with a ton of folks, it seems to be quite a common consensus. It still functions well of course, but no where close to how it was with a solid kanthal build. That's actually my main motivation for buying the lemo. I have no interest in the glass tank at all, but the significant difference in air hole sealed the deal for me.

2) I dont understand why some people (not this thread) are so hung up over having the chip display Celsius or Ferenheit. It's not as if the units actually matter.

For some reason- my magma has been THE atomizer for nickel builds..it's ALWAYS consistent. Contact or spaced coils... Weird.. because I don't use kanthal or any other wire to crimp it down with nickel through the post-holes... It's just that good..

Ive seen a lot of magma bashing, but i have gravitated back to it every time i try something else. Mostly the convenience. Easy to build, holds a ton of juice for an rda and its a flavor machine.
Its my driving rda, i top it off and and dont have to worry about it for 45 minutes. Definitely not a cloud chucker though. Im finding the hobo and omerta to both have a nice balance though. Nowhere near the juice capacity.

thanks. I did see those heads. they were for the nautilus. I like the kangertech sub tank because it's a hybrid and I like their bottom coils because they use cotton.

I assume the tobh is the original and the stillare is the clone. I watched a video and the guy that put the coils on made it look so easy. lol Plus I loved the look and he commented it gave a cooler vape (which I like) compared to other rda's. But easy or easier sounds better. I'll will have to check the magma out on youtube. thanks.

What's the clt?
