I've really been enjoying this device. I'm not one to gush over a product really, but I've been impressed with this little guy. My first delve back into a regulated mod since I got a Provari two and half years ago. I don't think I can go back to mechs after using the device. I haven't had any issue with my board luckily and I have a early batch of these chips. When you have your atomizer built correctly for temperature control it works as intended. I happen to use a couple kayfun+v2's and it's been great. Even at .10 ohm I can get a full day out of the LG battery. The controls are very responsive and learning your way around the device is quite easy.

The only thing I like and dislike, which is weird, is the screen on the bottom. I wish I could see in real time what my chip is doing but I also don't want a light in my face at night when I take a toke. So, I like that it's out of sight more actually because of that fact. I did not have much luck with a Kayfun v4 or a Lemo Drop but I cannot blame the device for this. I think there are other forces at work there.

The rubberized finish is excellent. I only hope that it holds up over time. The battery compartment door turned out to be a real treat. It stays on very secure and changing a battery is a breeze. This was kind of a selling point for me. I want to be able to change a battery with no hassle, no unscrewing, not adjusting, just pop it in and rock and roll. This is that device for me. Right now I don't see a more comfortable mod for it's size.

To sum it up I'd say it is money well spent if you want a DNA40 device. I don't see myself ever needing more than 40 watts and I have never even built where I'd need more than 30, so there is headroom there to play with if I ever feel inclined to do so.

Anyone try the TSC coils from VS for the Aspire nautilus and do you like them?

usb ports don't hold up well over time in anything.

really? the microcables in my devices have never broken, even in my 3 year old phone that i charge daily with a micro cable

i also believe you need a charging stand to go with the charging card. the card is just the receiver correct me if im wrong.

Yep. You need a wireless card (unless you have the rdba40) and some kind of charging pad. I recommend just going on Amazon and search for QI WIRELESS CHARGER or PAD

Yes, I've been using them in a Silo (great airflow, big tank). I didn't really know what to expect because I haven't really used atomizers since I started building my own coils over a year ago, but, these were a pleasant surprise. The flavour is good, the vapour production is good and they play real nice with the VS. The first one lasted exactly 14 days and I'm 4 days in with the second. Yes, I like them.

I have the stand already in anticipation of my 2 vs rdna 40s. I, unfortunately have had a different experience with micro usb charging ports :)

I really need to give rayon a try. I finally broke down my kayfun last night to re-wick/re-coil. I had put approximately 30-35 mls through it and the coil and wick were super gunky. I should have taken pictures. KGD works great but I just don't like the coil gunk aspect. Plus with the ni200 I can't dry burn it so I have to rebuild pretty much every time I re-wick.

You can most certainly dry burn those coils. I have dry burned rinsed and rewicked all of my atty's at least twice. Especially if you have a good build thats been working for you. cleans up just like my kanthal coils I don't put as much power thru the nickel as I do the kanthal just a soft glow rinse and repeat till the coil is clean again.

Good to know, good to know. I hope to get a couple packs of those heads once the price comes down a bit. Just can't justify $18 for those right now when the Kanthal ones are somewhere around $12. I've never burned a coil or had a dry hit from the Kanthal BVC coils, they just work really really well.

Any suggestions on a fix for preventing scratches from screwing on the atomizer on top of the rDNA 40? I be sure not to screw it down too hard, but even so, I'm starting to get rings/scratches around where the atomizer reaches the actual unit. Obviously it's purely superficial, but if anyone has any successful ideas beyond a piece of tape on top it would be much appreciated!
I had some leftover carbon fiber jwraps vinyl that i put on the atty base itself. Works well and you can't really see any gap.

I've been using the TSC coils for 3 weeks now. They are lasting me about 50% longer than the BVC ones so the price differential is not an issue to me. Though hopefully they will come down in price as more people use them.

I also find them more consistent than BVC - slightly better flavor and less flavor fall off as they age, I can just confidently turn them up a little as they gunk up knowing the dna40 won't give me a burnt or dry hit.
