Ordering the lemo drop tomorrow,we'll in a few hours. thanks kiwi, what do you prefer using when it comes to the gauge ni200 and have you found an ideal ohm that works best? I've been using single 28g at 0.15ohm and using the split wicking method to get plenty of cotton in without destroying the coil In an rda at the moment.

That coil build right there is what really does it for me right now!!

The pic of kiwi's single 28ga is my go to build on my 3 Lemo's right now *420 @22-23.5W holy yum!!

Well, as annoying as it can be to have to send a device back, I am impressed how VS handled my unit. (haha...handled my unit). It really was fairly painless and In 7 days I had a brand new rdna40 in my hands. I think the communication can be better but as far as returns go they get an A+ in my book.

ok, had the new one for a half hour and the screen is garbled lol. I'm just going to live with it unless it stops firing! Never considered anything else really but after all this I'm going to give the sx a try I guess

You paid a premium for an item, in part for the warranty. Use that warranty.

I can't stress that enough, or how many people have been in the same predicament only to come back and said they should've sent it in from the start.

I understand that but after a month wait the first time and now getting an hour out of a new one I'm just done. It still fires and that's what's important to me right now. Bottom line is it's still keeping me from smoking so if it's just the screen screwing up I'll deal with it. I really just don't understand how in 3 months evolv hasn't come up with a permanent solution to this!!

I will be recieving my rDNA 40 on tuesday and I must say i'm a bit concerned with all the reports of faulty screens and whatnot, allthough I'm sure there's a rather slim chance my particular rDNA will arrive with or develop issues. I've been sticking to mechs for the past two years in part because of how reliable they are with almost no risk of recieving something that wont fire, and if it does have faults, would be easy enough to fix on my own.

I'm really looking forward to switch to a regulated device and not have to live with swapping out batteries every 3 hours. :)

Happy vaping, folks!

I feel like I'm going crazy here. I wrap for .11 coils (ni200) and since the last few days my VaporShark rDNA 40 is measuring all my atty's at .13 It used to read .11 all the time so I knew it was reading my coils correctly. SO I am wondering, what are the chances that the vaporshark is having issues, I cleaned the 510 connectors on it and on all my atty/tanks. Anyone heard of such a thing, is the shark messing up on me??

Feel like mine is acting up too, seems like it is bouncing around with the readings. Was consistent at .18 every time now it's .16 and .21. Also I used to be. Able to check my coils by setting my temp at 600 and if no red glowing I was good to go. Now every damn coil,up in smoke. Went to 685f then said tp but coil was glowing. I know this is wrong and I have let the atty and shark set apart for 10 15 min in between builds. like I said every thing was great and consistent from build to build, no dry hits unless temp was cranked. About to take out the batt for a while and let it chill.

So are you saying you're not going to keep using the warranty?
Just asking cause screen issues don't get better- they generally will just replace it & what are you going to do once the screen is no longer readable & you're out of the warranty period?

My other screen never got worse, just happened when the device was cold. Seems to be the case for this one as well. It never once prevented me from using it. I'm sick of the downtime waiting and sending back. If it gets worse fairly quickly I'll rma it again and sell it.

Hey quick question, does anyone have the vs rdna40 and the refreshed rdna40 wouldn't mind seeing the screen size increase comparison... I tried googling but couldn't find any. Judging from the renders on google I thought it would take up that entire bottom area or at least the width but I guess not.

I'm trying to go through this thread to see pics of the screen just taking a bit going through 644 pages lol

Just recieved my rDNA40 and I must say that after about 30 minutes of use I already love it. You really must hold one to really appreciate the build quality, size and weight. It came without any screen issues but time will tell if it holds up.

Got a Kraken built to 0.55 ohms at 27w and I'm in vape heaven!

What atomizer are you using? It sounds like an issue with your atomizer.

Picture Postcards of the Day :)

I love how your pics look like it's photobombed by your DNA30 :D
