Well I've got a dna 40 sitting in the cart waiting for me to push the button. I was tempted to go for the small screen rDNA 40 since it's a better deal. But I'm thinking if I'm going to have two sharks I'd like the difference in size for occasions where it might be more practical. The hard wired battery isn't a concern, I can take care of swapping out batteries when the time comes. Just need to wait for the next pay day to make sure Ive got the spare cash. I really want to get a back up dna before I send back my current one for the screen issue.

I was noticing that. It's cheaper to get the small screen rDNA than a DNA. Makes my decision easier. Another rDNA may be in my near future.

Okay, I feel a bit dumb here. Is anybody else using the Panasonic NCR18650B battery? Because it was available through VS, I assumed it was acceptable for the rDNA 40. It was recently brought to my attention that this battery only has a continuous discharge rate of 6.8 amps. This is obviously not adequate for my 0.16 ohm coil. I swapped it out for the LG battery last night and haven't noticed a screen malfunction since. I realize that it has only been a few hours, but my rDNA was showing a screen malfunction regularly enough that I should have seen at least one by now.

There isn't STILL a 30 day wait. There is currently a 30 day wait due to the Chinese New Year.

What does the Chinese New Year have to do with it. US made chip and assembly. Would have thought VS would have enough foresight to have enough enclosures in stock to meet demand.

I'm pretty sure they offloaded most of their stock to vendors so they could concentrate on RMA units. This is why all the vendors have stock.

Someone mentioned that assembly / production of the boxes was done in China. I'm not entirely sure. I do believe Evolve is US, so I'm not really sure.

Got my rDNA and within the first 10 minutes got the screen glitch. lol. I call bs on those denying that theirs is glitch free. 4th one in a row I've gotten with it. I'm just going to keep it and RMA it in about 4 months because I love the temp control. Hopefully they have their schit together by then. Already set a reminder on my phone so I don't let my warranty lapse.

^thats a very bold statement to make sir.

I've been very paranoid about my devices, and I actually monitor my screen using my phone very frequently. Both my first batch small screen RDNA and first batch big screen rDNA have not glitched once.

Well, when one is batting 0/4 that's the thought. lol. I must say, it hasn't happened since. Perhaps a few days in the cold are responsible.
