mesh , if its your first i would stick with a single wick , but if you chose the dual you can still use it as a single only difference is the extra ground screw , since your a first timer , i can set it up with a wick for you . its not something i typically do but i want you to be able to enjoy it straight out of the box . also to the ones receiving theirs soon , i forgot to note that i boil off the machining oil so its already cleaned up and ready to build .

Thanks jeherron for the advise and allowing me to immediately fill and vape right away! Per your suggestion, I'll go with the single wick. In the spreadsheet, please change my options from dual wick to single wick.
As for the finish, I would like a machined finish please. You da man and thanks again!

Great Pic! What kind of wire & size are you using?

Charliebrown, the wire is kanthal A1 32 gauge although I watched a video last week of a guy using 28 gauge.

This is my first rebiuld as well. I've been watching tons of videos on different rebuildables and jherron's 'Stratus',to me, seems to be the best one out there hands down!!:headbang:

Mesh size was 400 and kanthal 32 g but you must know how many ohm per foot the wire you buy is, therefore you can precalculate what resistance you will have.

For example my kanthal is right under 9 ohms per foot so I know I can use around a inch and a half of the wire to get the ohm load I look for. I typically like about 3-4 wraps.

The research continues.....

Thanks Cindylu! I was thinking of getting 34 a-1 AWG. I agree with you in regards to Sir Jherron's "Stratus" being one of the best.
